🐾 We Are Family 🎶

I have had dogs from as far back as I could remember as a child. One of my oldest memories is sitting on the kitchen floor as a young child and throwing my dog Bim food on the ground and watching him eat it real fast. As a child we had a Pekingese named Bella- she was my everything and when she passed I didn’t get another dog until I moved down to North Carolina. On a whim- I went to Fayetteville Animal Protection Services and started the process of adopting Jimmy. He was my first adult dog adoption; unfortunately Jimmy passed away in May 2020 of CHF. Now- I have an Australian Cattle Dog aka Blue Heeler named Whiskey Girl (aka Biscuites) and recently added to my family Piper Kai (yes I am obsessed with Cobra Kai on Netflix) she’s a 4 pound feisty- and fully of energy chihuahua. Along with caring for my animals growing up- I have cat and dog sat while families have gone on vacation. Fed animals for when family and friends have done day trips- especially during the summer months. Whiskey & Piper (aka the girls) get walked every single day…morning and night. They are taken out for potty breaks every two hours; and bathed when it’s needed. I keep them both on a really strict diet according to their breed. I also make them their own homemade dog treats! **they get their cheat days** They are my family! As yours would be too!

My 10 year old cat Sophie lost one of her furry housemates in 2021 and another this summer so now she’s alone in the house and shy around new people. Sarah put food out at mealtimes but Sophie would always wait until she left to come out of hiding and eat!

Sarah is wonderful!! She’s so patient and kind and just so great with my pups! She was so communicative- sent me texts when she arrived and left, sent lots of pictures, and left me notes about how her visit went and who peed/pooed! Exactly the info I want when I’m away. Im so grateful she lives close to us and will definitely be using her services again! ?

Sarah took excellent care of my pup! She came home happy and tired, which is a good thing. Would definitely recommend her!

Our English Bulldogs absolutely love Sarah. We only trust a few people with the care of our babies, and Sarah is at the top of the list. She’s a true animal lover, and treats all babies like her own.

Safety, trust & environment

Whiskey and Piper are on a strict diet according to their breed and what is best for them. They are also fully vaccinated. Both girls get daily walks- typically morning to early afternoon and and evening walk before bed (like kids you have to tire them out lol). On occasion when Piper decides that rolling in a mud puddle or dirt is fun- she does get a bath. So both dogs are groomed, played with, loved and cared for.

Pets

A typical day

Your dogs will go on walks, play ball or whatever activities they enjoy doing the most. We would go for car rides to explore local parks, hikes (if that is one of their hobbies)- cuddle and watch movies. If they have a favorite tv show- or have a certain genre of music to listen too! We all have our likes and dislikes ? Also, I have no issue sharing my location on my phone or put an Apple Tag on your dogs collar as well. You can call/text anytime to check in or even FaceTime! ?

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
No females in heat
Crate-trained dogs only
Takes only 1 client at a time
Sarah can host up to 2 dogs per day
Please let me know if your dog has any type of restrictions whether it be physical or dietary- of if they have any known allergies. I also would require a typed up PDF of your dogs likes/dislikes- if they have a fear of thunderstorms etc. Emergency Contact name and numbers- their veterinary name/location. If they are on medication how often that are to take their meds & name of their meds. I want to know every detail about your dog that could make their visit- or stay to be as relaxing, comfortable and fun as possible; personalized to them.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
