I'm currently working part-time for myself at home, meaning i'm based at home through the days, and most evenings. I live near Ormeau park, and go on multiple walks there every day, it would be a joy to have a 4-legged companion by my side.

Safety, trust & environment

Aside from having no children, no other pets and no other people in my environment, I also have a walled front and back yard, with full visibility of both through the house, ensuring your pup stays safe when going to the toilet. My house is a open-planned terraced house in the suburbs of South Belfast. It is quite, and on a dead-end street, meaning there is little through traffic and few people walking about outside. Although in the city, it's a calm space to relax in. I can accommodate however you approach caring for your dog, either with or without a crate.

Caring & Loving Sitter for Your Pup

Pet care experience

Hi, my name's Sarah. I recently moved into my own house, and my little miniature Schnauzer Ellie passed at the same time. I've always had pets from a young age, and caring for Ellie was main responsibility from 10 years old. Whilst she was a beloved family pet, she was very much my dog, and my responsibility. Alongside this, my first 'job' was as a dog walker for my elderly neighbour from the age of 12. I was then, and still am now, a responsible carer for any furry friends in my care.

I cannot recommend Sarah more as a pet sitter. She has looked after my dog, Goose, multiple times - whether I’ve been in the office for long days, away for a weekend, or travelling on holiday. Every single time, she has gone above and beyond to make sure Goose is happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Sarah ensures his needs are met by taking him on multiple walks a day, playing with him, giving him enrichment treats, and making sure he feels completely at home. As he is a Dachshund, she is aware that running up and down stairs and jumping onto sofas could lead to back issues so ensures that this does not happen and uses his ramp where possible. She’s incredibly thoughtful and attentive, and she regularly keeps me updated with texts and photos so I always know how he’s doing. Those updates give me real peace of mind, and it’s clear from Goose’s tail wags that he adores her. Sarah would be a fantastic addition to Rover, and any dog in her care would be truly lucky to have her.
