My life has always been deeply intertwined with animals. From growing up with a menagerie of pets to raising my own human and furry kids, I've spent my life caring for loved ones of all kinds. My father bred and trained bird dogs, which gave me a deep understanding of canine behavior from a young age. My experience with dogs spans from puppies that need endless attention and training to senior dogs that require gentle care and a slower pace. I was raised in northern Michigan and have lived and worked around the world. That includes four years building an off-grid permaculture farm in the rainforest. I now call Florida home to be close to my three adult children (Tampa and Atlanta). My normal day includes an hour or two of walking, including in the woods if that is an option. My small marketing business is entirely online, which allows me the flexibility to live anywhere. This makes pet sitting an excellent option to combine my love for travel with my passion for pet and home care. Before starting my company, I spent 22 years in business roles within the tech industry and 14 years teaching economics in the international school community. I am a native English speaker and am reasonably fluent in Spanish. I am confident with the care of a wide variety of family pets and a wide range of needs, including giving injections, cleaning and bandaging wounds, and assisting with births. As a pet parent who has used paid sitters, I know what it feels like to entrust your home and beloved animals to a stranger. It's a responsibility I take very seriously, and I am glad to provide that same sense of security and expert care for you and your canine kids.
