Pets, Plants and Cleaning Lady
I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board and for doggy daycare would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk.

Sarah did a wonderful job taking care of our cat while we were out of town ... highly recommend her!
We have a dog-reactive pitbull with separation anxiety, and Sarah handled him incredibly well for the 5 days he was left in her care. She took him on many walks, gave him lots of cuddles and consistently sent us updates and photos. This was our first time leaving him with someone other than our neighbors, and Sarah turned out to be a great choice for us! 10/10.
I had a fantastic experience with Sarah looking after my dog, Bash. From the start, it was clear that she was committed to keeping him physically engaged and safe. I really appreciated that she prioritized getting him out for plenty of long, vigorous walks. It was a huge relief to travel knowing that Bash was in capable hands, getting the exercise he needs to stay happy and tired. Beyond the activity, she kept me updated with check-ins and amazing photos (seriously I might frame one of them), which gave me complete peace of mind. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a responsible, communicative, and active pet sitter. Both Bash and I are extremely satisfied customers!
Sarah was wonderful with Bijou! He is a well-behaved dog but has a ton of energy, and it was clear that Sarah understood his personality perfectly. You could easily tell from the pictures she shared that he was having a blast. She took him on a couple of walks, and he came home completely happy and tired out from all the fun. I highly recommend Sarah for doggy day care and will definitely use her services again!
Sarah was amazing! Very kind and communicative. My 10 year old Australian Shepherd was comfortable and at ease with her and in her home. Very glad to have booked with her!
Sarah was kind, generous and flexible with the drop off, pick up. Our dog Peanut had a safe and pleasant time with her.

Schedule
I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible!

Safety, trust & environment
I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding and doggy daycare. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate the most minimal of walkers. Please note: I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.
A typical day
I have a flexible schedule and am happy to accommodate your pets needs. I like neighborhood strolls (walkabouts), strenuous hikes and walks on the sand along the beach. Whatever makes your pet happy and stimulated is what I will plan for us. I typically avoid dog parks unless your dog is part of an established community of other dogs to avoid any potential danger, and I never allow a dog off leash no matter how good recall they have. I prioritize fun AND safety for the animals I care for.
