Pets, Plants and Cleaning Lady
I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board and for doggy daycare would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk.

Sarah was absolutely wonderful! Ewok took to her immediately from the meet and greet. While she took care of Ewok, Sarah sent daily updates and photos. She took wonderful care of Ewok and seemed content when we picked him up. Sarah even printed out a picture of Ewok which was adorable and I can’t wait to frame. So happy that we found Sarah!
Thank you, Sarah! Gizmo (anxious, high energy, leash reactive, derpy guy that he is) loved his stay and I felt really assured he was well cared for. Loved all the pictures and communication and I’m sure he’s dreaming of coming back. 🫶🐾🐶
Sarah took good care of my dog with lots of walks and spent plenty of time together. She did however miss one of his night time medications but still overall a great stay. Would use her again!
Sarah took amazing care of our dog Molly while we were out of town for two weeks. Molly was happy, and got lots of attention and walks. Sarah is communicative -- we got regular updates and great photos. She clearly just really loves and understands animals. We would be delighted to have her sit for Molly again.
Sarah’s amazing! My dog Jack was immediately obsessed with her (he likes everyone but LOVED Sarah). Sarah’s extremely easy to work with, super kind, communicative and knows animals extremely well. Jack has animal reactivity and she was extremely well-versed in this and equipped on how to handle that. Separately, she even deep cleans!!! I don’t know a better combo than someone who’s a dog whisperer and enjoys deep cleaning, but I’m really grateful to have met Sarah

Schedule
I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible!

Safety, trust & environment
I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding and doggy daycare. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate the most minimal of walkers. Please note: I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.
A typical day
I have a flexible schedule and am happy to accommodate your pets needs. I like neighborhood strolls (walkabouts), strenuous hikes and walks on the sand along the beach. Whatever makes your pet happy and stimulated is what I will plan for us. I typically avoid dog parks unless your dog is part of an established community of other dogs to avoid any potential danger, and I never allow a dog off leash no matter how good recall they have. I prioritize fun AND safety for the animals I care for.

- Our pets are much like us, they don't necessarily want to be sniffed up and down by everyone they pass. Please let me know if your dog has any leash aggression or is temperamental with specific sounds (sirens) or objects (skateboards/bikes).
