Me Casa tu Casa -Loving home whilst you are gone
My partner and I have been raised alongside furry friends our entire lives, sadly we lost our pet of 14 years a while ago and whilst we are not ready to have another of own just yet, we do have a lot of love, snuggles and care to give whilst your away from them. I currently work from home so have plenty of time to care for your furry friend. If required, we can provide 3 walks per day with frequent toilet breaks during the day in a secured walled/fenced large garden. The morning walk will be before 08:0 with a walk at lunch (20 mins) and a longer walk in the evenings once my partner Martin returns home. We have parks locally and some fantastic long walks around Thrapston lakes. We have looked after a variety of dogs (and cats) and totally understand that every dog is different with their unique quirks, needs, wants and levels of attention, every visit is tailored to their needs whether just for the day or boarding overnight. We will ensure your dog is cared for as if our own and provide video/picture updates if required. I have completed a CPD Dog First Aid course and we have a doggie first aid kit on hand for any emergencies. I also have Pet Business Insurance with Protectivity, please ask if you would like to see a copy of the policy.

We couldn’t speak highly enough of Sarah. The level of care Sarah and Martin provide for Jaffa Cake is second to none. They go out of their way to make Jaffa feel at home, taking him on lovely walks and trips. Jaffa loves staying with Sarah and Martin so much that he is reluctant to come home!!! Just perfect.
I can’t praise Sarah enough. Jaffa Cake is so happy spending time with Sarah and her partner. They’re so welcoming and kind and go out of their way to offer the very best care. Sarah’s house has become a real home from home for Jaffa Cake and my mind is completely at ease when he is with them.
I can’t thank Sarah and Martin enough, they’re true dog lovers and made our Martha feel right at home, we can’t recommend them enough.
Sarah is a fantastic sitter, couldn’t be better. Jaffa Cake absolutely loves staying with Sarah and Martin. They take Jaffa on lovely walks, he goes out for breakfast and also to the pet shop for pic n mix! I get regular updates from pictures and videos throughout the stay and it is obvious that Jaffa Cake feels totally at home with Sarah and Martin. I can’t rate Sarah highly enough, I’m already booking ahead for the year!
Sarah and Martin were amazing! Before Jaffa Cake’s stay with them, we had a meet and greet which really put our minds at rest. We knew then that Jaffa Cake would be well looked after and he took to both Sarah and Martin instantly. During Jaffa Cake’s stay, we were sent pictures and videos which was lovely. Jaffa was so well looked after with long walks and trips out. We could see how happy Jaffa was from the pictures. Sarah and Martin went above and beyond and we have already booked the next stay with them.
Sarah recently looked after my 2 dogs (Yorkshire terriers) for 10 days while I was on holiday and, as rescues, it takes them a while to get used to new people (they love everyone on first sight, but are very attached to me). I was very nervous about leaving them in a ‘strange’ house, as I usually have a house/dog sitter when I go away, and it was the first time they had stayed away from home without me. I took both for an overnight stay prior to the sit to see if they would settle elsewhere – I needn’t have worried, they were played with and kept occupied and got lots of attention (which they love) and settled in really well with lots of cuddles (I got many pictures to prove it). Sarah has a large garden and great dog walking areas around where she lives, and the dogs had a great time. This care continued for the 10 night stay – Sarah is very active (more active than I am) and regularly walked the dogs (3 walks a day), and when I picked them up, it was obvious that they had settled in and taken to Sarah and her partner. Sarah dealt with one of the dogs initially not eating and an upset tummy, getting advice from her local vet, and I am confident in her ability to handle these types of situations as they arise – Poppy was fine after a couple of days and was just missing me being around. I would recommend Sarah to anyone – she is an obvious dog lover, and is trusted by many others to mind their much loved pets, and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Poppy and Pebbles in her care again.

Schedule
The day would start with a walk before work (before 08:00) then your pets would be settled with me whilst I work from home. They will have access to the whole house and can lay peacefully on the couch in my study or in their own comfy beds if they want company or can retreat into their own space and watch the world go by out of the bay windows in the lounge. They would have frequent toilet/play breaks, lots of fussing and attention and a short lunchtime walk before a longer evening walk after work. My partner and co carer, Martin will join us on this evening walk which is usually taken around the local lakes or nearby parks. Snuggles and playtime in the evening before final toilet break, treat and bedtime.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced and walled garden which is totally secure, we currently do not have any pets of our own so yours will be our priority and we will only take pets from the same family in one booking. We will only bored dogs that have completed a meet & greet and the opportunity to walk on lead. This to make sure both your dog is as happy with us as we are with them. Whilst we will always try to accommodate a home from home experience and have toys/beds/treats available please ensure you pack their favourite toy/blanket or even an item of clothing that gives comfort to your pooch whilst your gone.
A typical day
We love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We will play games, walks, fusses and explore some of the many parks around our area with you.
