Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m currently home full‑time caring for my own crew (2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 reptiles, and a toad). Since I’m already in a rhythm of feeding, cleaning, walking, and keeping everyone on schedule, adding visits or walks for other pets fits in seamlessly. My open schedule means I can accommodate a wide range of needs—short or long walks, drop‑ins, medication timing, potty breaks, or simply spending quality time with pets who need company. I’m flexible, reliable, and able to adjust to whatever routine your pet is most comfortable with - even if that means a 6am breakfast with a strict 630am walk!

Safety, trust & environment

I care for pets with a strong focus on safety, consistency, and comfort—both in my home and in a client’s home. My own daily routine is already built around animal care. I’m up around 7:30 each morning for dog potty breaks, breakfast, fresh water, and checking on everyone’s environment. My cats get their fountains cleaned or topped off, and my reptiles and amphibian get their habitats checked, misted, and monitored for proper lighting and temperature. Throughout the day, I keep an eye on everyone’s behavior, energy levels, and overall well‑being. My dogs go for their individual walks in the afternoon—one is a senior who prefers slow sniff‑walks, while the younger one likes a faster pace—so I’m used to adjusting to each pet’s needs and comfort level. When I’m caring for a client’s pets, I bring that same structure and attention to detail. I follow your routine closely, keep water fresh, maintain clean spaces, and make sure pets get the right amount of exercise, companionship, and supervision. Whether it’s an overnight stay, a walk, or a drop‑in visit, I prioritize safety, clear communication, and making sure your pet feels secure and cared for in their own environment.

Information Sarah B. would like to know about your pet

It’s helpful for me to know anything that keeps your pet safe, comfortable, and in their routine. This includes their feeding schedule, any medications, mobility or medical needs, quirks, fears, or triggers, and how they typically behave with new people or other animals. I also appreciate knowing their favorite activities, comfort items, and any house rules you want me to follow. If your pet is an escape artist, shy, spicy, or extra social, just let me know so I can make sure they feel secure and understood from the start.

A typical day

A typical day with me is all about keeping pets happy, engaged, and comfortable. Depending on their personality and energy level, we might go for a walk, play their favorite games, explore the yard, or enjoy some quiet cuddle time. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible - meals, meds, potty breaks, and preferred activities - so their day feels familiar and stress‑free. Whether they love fetch, feather toys, sunbathing, walks, or just having someone to hang out with, I make sure they get the attention and enrichment they enjoy most.

Pet care experience

I bring several years of hands-on experience caring for pets at every life stage. From tiny kittens and energetic puppies to seniors who need a gentler, more attentive approach. I'm comfortable supporting older pets with diaper changes, administering medications exactly as instructed by owners/vets, assisting with meals, and helping outside for potty breaks or to bask in the sun for a bit. I've handled my fair share of seniors, personally, and have developed a watchful eye over any changes in behavior or symptoms as they may develop. I've also cared for a wide variety of animals beyond cats and dogs, including reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, and even a few chickens! Whether they're small, large, furry, feathered, or scaled, I treat every animal like a valued family member who sometimes needs a little extra help. What sets me apart is my calm, patient presence and my ability to adapt to each pet's unique needs. I'm attentive, observant, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal's personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away.
