I work remotely full-time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I can easily accommodate feeding schedules, oral medication routines, and the individual needs of each pet. Because I don’t spend time commuting, I’m able to dedicate more of my day to the pets in my care. Whether your dog enjoys an active walk, extra playtime, or simply having someone nearby while they relax, I’ll make sure they receive the attention, care, and love they deserve.

Safety, trust & environment

Every pet has their own routine, and I believe consistency helps them feel safe and comfortable. Before our first visit, I’ll take time to learn about your pet’s schedule, personality, triggers, favorite activities, and any special instructions. During walks and drop-in visits, safety is always my top priority. I’ll follow your preferred walking equipment and routines, monitor for signs of stress or discomfort, and make sure your pet has fresh water, exercise, enrichment, and plenty of attention. If your pet is crate trained or has a specific routine for when you leave, I’m happy to maintain those habits to keep things as normal as possible. Having cared for my blind Shiba Inu for several years, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and paying attention to a pet’s individual needs. That experience has made me especially mindful of creating a safe environment and recognizing when a dog may need a little extra support or reassurance. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

Information Sarah B. would like to know about your pet

Before our first visit, I’d love to learn about your pet’s personality, routine, and any special needs. Some of the most helpful things to know are their energy level, walking habits, favorite activities, feeding schedule, medication requirements, and how they typically interact with people, other dogs, and common distractions. I also appreciate knowing about any fears, anxieties, triggers, or behaviors you’d like me to watch for so I can provide the best possible care. Whether your pet is a social butterfly, a couch potato, or needs a little extra patience and reassurance, the more I know ahead of time, the better I can tailor my care to their needs. My goal is to make every visit feel as comfortable, safe, and stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.

A typical day

Every pet is different, so I tailor each visit to their energy level, personality, and routine. For active dogs, that might mean a longer walk, exploring new smells, playing fetch, or burning off some energy with games and enrichment. For senior dogs or pets who prefer a slower pace, I’m just as happy to spend time providing companionship, gentle exercise, belly rubs, and plenty of attention. During drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and one-on-one interaction so they don’t feel lonely while you’re away. I believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical activity, so I always encourage plenty of sniffing, exploration, and play when appropriate. Most importantly, I focus on making each visit fun, safe, and stress-free while maintaining the routine your pet knows and loves.

Pet care experience

I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for years and currently share my home with an energetic Bernedoodle and a senior Shiba Inu with special needs. Caring for dogs with very different personalities and activity levels has taught me how to adapt to each pet’s unique needs. My Shiba Inu, Marco, has been blind for several years, giving me hands-on experience with senior dogs, medication routines, oral medication administration, patience, and creating a safe, comfortable environment. My Bernedoodle, Kosar, loves making new friends and keeps me active with longer walks, playtime, and plenty of enrichment. I work remotely full-time, which gives me flexibility throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, play sessions, and lots of companionship. If your pet stays with me, they’ll also have access to a small fenced yard for supervised outdoor time. Whether your pet loves adventure, prefers a slower pace, or needs a little extra care and attention, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I love sending updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re safe, happy, and well cared for.

Very friendly patient with the dog, and gave a good exercise. Would recommend her.
