Experienced, fit active pet lovers
We’re a married couple who’ve both grown up with animals and are very active, spending lots of time outdoors, so long walks in any weather are no problem. We’re confident with puppies needing consistency, senior dogs who prefer a slower pace, and everything in between. We also have experience with cats, rabbits, hamsters, mice, tortoises, sheep and donkeys. We’re comfortable with medication, special diets and specific routines. If your dog has a bedtime biscuit, we’ll keep that going. If you use commands in another language, we’re happy to learn them. We’re also open to longer stays and advance bookings, and can step in to keep things running smoothly so you can head away feeling confident everything at home is in safe hands.

We’re careful and consistent with routines, especially at night. We always make sure pets go out before bed and are safely settled wherever they usually sleep — whether that’s the boot room, a crate, or in the bedroom with us. We keep an eye on things without fuss and follow your normal setup so everything stays familiar and secure.

Sarah and John are wonderful people who looked after Kenny for the day while we were at a family wedding. They arrived in good time and were totally unphased by a houseful of family members getting ready to leave the house. They looked after Kenny really well and followed his usual routine with care which allowed us to relax and enjoy the day. They sent photos during the day to let us know he was doing ok and when we got home Kenny was relaxed and calm.
We would definitely use Sarah and John again; we felt very comfortable and happy leaving our house and precious pets in their safe hands for a few days. Sarah sent a few photos and updates showing both pets looking happy and relaxed which was really appreciated and put our minds at ease. John watered the garden too, which was really appreciated especially in this hot weather. From the meet and greet to saying goodbye, Sarah and John made the whole experience completely stress free and the most important thing was that both pets looked like they loved being looked after by them.
Sarah and John looked after Kenny our black Labrador at late notice. Sarah communicated quickly to confirm her availability and on the day arrived punctually to allow some time for us to share information before we headed off for the day. They are both really calm, warm people who make you feel instantly at ease to leave your pet in their care. During the day she provided updates with photos to reassure us that Kenny was doing ok. We told Sarah they could leave Kenny at 10 but when we told Sarah that we wouldn’t be home until 1 in the morning she kindly said if any problems occurred on our journey home she would come back to see Kenny. Lovely couple and Kenny seemed very happy to stay with them for the day. When we got home Kenny was happy and excited to see us but had obviously just been sleeping and seemed perfectly content.
Sarah and John were so lovely. I had no hesitation in leaving Ted and Cato with them. They treated the house with great respect and our animals clearly warmed to them immediately. I would recommend them to anyone, but want to keep them just for us!

From our initial conversation on FaceTime I knew F he would be a perfect fit for my boys. They are a lovely couple, very thorough. At my request they arrived the evening before I left so we could discuss the boys requirements. Ren can sometimes be reactive with other dogs and I need to be sure they were ok with everything. They looked after the boys really well. They sent me updates and photos on a regular basis. They looked after my home and garden for me and watered all my plants through a particularly hot period. When I got home the garden looked beautiful and my house was exactly how I left it

Schedule
We’ve got no other commitments while we’re caring for your pets, so our time is completely focused on them. We step into your routine exactly as you’ve set it up, keeping everything familiar so there’s as little disruption as possible. Walks, feeding times, play, cuddles, bedtime rituals — whatever your pet is used to, we follow it. Our aim is for you to head away feeling confident that everything at home is running just as it normally would.

- We’re an experienced, outdoorsy couple who genuinely love all dogs — from tiny puppies finding their feet to senior dogs who need a gentler pace. We’ve cared for pups going through training, dogs on medication, and older ones in the early stages of doggie dementia, so nothing phases us. Toileting accidents? Absolutely no problem — we handle it calmly and without fuss. Because we’ve had pets of our own, we also understand how hard it is to leave them. That’s why we focus on keeping their routines familiar, giving them plenty of affection, and making sure you feel fully at ease while you’re away. Your dog gets a safe, settled, loving stay… and you get peace of mind.
