Hi, my name is Sarah! I just graduated from UW majoring in anthropology with an emphasis in medical anthropology and global health as well as human evolutionary biology. I am going to nursing school soon, and it’s expensive! That’s where you come in :) I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life (everything from a havanese to a bull mastiff!) and have always enjoyed caring for them and developing special bonds. Making my animals happy makes me happy and I have developed a deep passion for everything that walks on four legs (or swims or slithers!). I have taken a pre-vet class where I learned an extensive amount about animal first aid and I have also been pet-sitting off and on for the past three years. I think what sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is that I learn quickly and I love anything that has to do with paying attention to the details. I also understand that people have busy lives and I am willing to be flexible with times and dates because a mutual commitment to communication and clarity is very important to me. From our meet and greet, I knew my dog and cat would be well cared for by Sarah! Her calm demeanor, wonderful updates of my happy girls and the pictures showing their joy in hanging out with her confirmed that we will definitely feel comfortable having Sarah back:) Additionally, Sarah's flexibility when our travel plans unexpectedly extended was very appreciated!!
Sarah is awesome with our pack. She has been so flexible and accommodating to my (lately) crazy schedule. The pups are always happy to see her and hang out for a bit. She's a great puppy nanny :)
Sarah was fantastic with my cat while I was away. I was pretty anxious, but her updates and photos really put me at ease. She’s reliable, responsive, and a great communicator. She went the extra mile by playing with him, even trying to brush his fur (not easy!), and even took our trash can out without being asked Highly recommend her—thoughtful and truly caring.
Sarah was so awesome to our to cats. Prompt on sending messages and photos and all responses. Gave them love and attention. Also, our one cat rarely warms up to new people and did for Sarah in a day or two. That says a lot 🩷
Thank you Sarah for showing up on short notice and caring for the Maine Coons! I’m sure Kabuki talked at you the whole time until he had food in his mouth! 😆 My heart is full!
Sarah was absolutely phenomenal to work with! With it being our first rover booking, we were nervous but she made everything so easy with her communication, photos, and updates. We would happily book with her again!
