I have been providing cat and dog sitting services for the past six years and truly enjoy caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. While living in Michigan, I regularly pet-sat for several families, and now that I’m back in Maryland, I’m excited to connect with pet owners in my local community! I work as a freelance musician and teacher during the school year, which gives me a flexible schedule. With summer break underway, my weekdays are especially open now! My husband and I currently rent a home with a no-pets policy, so pet sitting and dog walking are wonderful ways for me to spend time with the animals I wish I could have around every day. Whether your energetic pup needs a long walk and plenty of exercise, your senior pet needs gentle companionship and extra attention, or your cat simply needs a caring visitor while you're away, I would love to help. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're gone.

I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions, and I am happy to provide regular updates and photos! I understand the trust involved in welcoming someone into your home, and I will always treat both your pets and your space with the utmost respect and care.

Sarah is the person I would trust in a heartbeat with any pets. She is caring and considerate and always goes beyond to make sure my pets are cared well for and appreciated. She has handled pets with medications and special needs, picky eaters and overly excitable ones too! She’s a calming presence for my pets and they love to see her when she comes in.
Sarah is an absolute delight. She cared for our beloved bloodhound/lab mix, Vader, over a few years before she relocated and left us (crying!!). She was dependable, responsible, and communicative while we were away. Our house was always left in great shape after she stayed, and Vader was always the happiest boy when he got to hang out with Sarah. Sarah always provided us a ton of comfort when we traveled because we knew she was taking great care of Vader and the house. I can't recommend her enough. You'd be lucky to have Sarah hang out with your pup! We miss her so much.

Schedule
I work as a teacher and professional musician, so during the summer I am off for break! My weekday schedule is wide open -- I can pop by to take your dog for a walk and/or check in on your furry friend any time of day. I am attending numerous weddings this summer, so my weekends are less available!
