Loving Care and Fun Adventures

Hi, I'm Sarah! As a devoted dog mom who works full-time from home, I am thrilled to offer a safe, loving, and highly attentive environment for your furry best friend. Whether your pup is joining me for doggy daycare or an extended boarding stay, they will be treated like a true member of the family. I share my home with my two sweet Miniature Dachshunds, Shirley and Charlie. They are absolutely the center of my world, and the immense love I have for them translates into how I care for every single guest dog that walks through my door. Your dog's happiness, comfort, and safety are my top priorities. Medical & Senior Care Experience I know how stressful it can be to leave a dog who needs a little extra help. I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs and am completely comfortable administering both pills and injections. My previous dog had diabetes and required daily insulin injections, so I am very well-versed in managing strict medication schedules with patience and a gentle touch. If your senior pup just needs a quiet place to nap and someone to keep a close eye on them, they will be in great hands here. Home Environment, Safety & Amenities Constant Supervision: Because I work from home, your dog will rarely be alone. They will have my companionship and supervision throughout the entire day. Fully Fenced Yard & Sun Safety: We have a great, fully fenced-in yard for potty breaks and playtime. We do have a pool, but strict safety rules apply: no dog is ever allowed outside unattended. Additionally, I have plenty of umbrellas set up outside and I closely monitor their sun and heat exposure throughout the day to make sure everyone stays cool, shaded, and comfortable. Dog-Friendly Perks & Comfort: Inside, your pup will hit the jackpot with five baskets full of dog toys to keep them entertained! We also use a fully filtered dog water fountain so they always have access to fresh, flowing water. For nap time, I have multiple dog beds placed all around the house so there is always a soft spot to land. If your dog is crate-trained or prefers having their own "den" to decompress, I have extra dog crates available for use as well. Structured Routine: I maintain a rigorous feeding schedule for my own dogs, who are fed three times a day. I know how important consistency is, and I am perfectly equipped to follow whatever strict meal routine your dog requires. I can't wait to meet you and your pup!

Schedule

Because I work full-time from home, pet care is seamlessly woven into my entire day. I maintain a structured, predictable routine for my own two dogs, which includes a rigorous feeding schedule of three meals a day. Throughout my workday, the dogs hang out with me in the house, taking advantage of the multiple dog beds or digging into our five baskets of toys. I take the dogs out for frequent, fully supervised potty and play breaks in our fenced yard, carefully monitoring their sun and heat exposure under the umbrellas. Since I am home all day, I have the flexibility to easily accommodate any specific feeding, medication, or potty schedules your dog needs to feel comfortable

Safety, trust & environment

My approach to pet care is centered around safety, routine, and making your dog feel like part of the family. Here is how I care for pets in my home: Constant Supervision: I work from home, so dogs are rarely alone. No dog is ever allowed in the backyard unattended due to the pool, and I closely monitor their sun and heat intake under our outdoor umbrellas. Tailored Health & Nutrition: I am experienced in senior and medical care, including giving pills and daily injections. I can easily accommodate strict diets and currently maintain a rigorous three-meal-a-day schedule for my own dogs. Premium Comfort: Your dog will have access to a fresh, filtered water fountain, multiple cozy dog beds spread throughout the house, and extra crates if they prefer their own space. Enrichment & Love: They will get plenty of supervised playtime with our five baskets of toys, socialization with my two friendly Miniature Dachshunds, and endless affection throughout the workday.

Pets

A typical day

The Toy Jackpot: We have five large baskets of dog toys. Whether a dog loves squeakers, ropes, or chew toys, we spend lots of time playing fetch, tug, and figuring out puzzles. (My dog Shirley is always ready for a game of indoor fetch with her favorite ball!) Supervised Yard Time: We take full advantage of the fully fenced yard. We do supervised romps in the grass, exploring, and then plenty of lounging in the shade under our outdoor umbrellas. Mental Enrichment: Keeping dogs' minds active is just as fun as physical play. We do positive reinforcement training games to practice basic commands, puzzle feeders, and special treat times. Cozy Downtime: After all the fun, one of our favorite activities is simply snuggling up on the multiple dog beds around the house for some quality belly rubs and relaxation.

To ensure your dog has the best possible stay, I love to get a full picture of their daily life! Please let me know: Socialization: How does your dog do with small breeds? (They will be hanging out with my two Miniature Dachshunds, Shirley and Charlie, so they must be small-dog friendly!) Medical & Feeding Needs: Do they have any allergies, strict feeding schedules, or require medications? I am fully comfortable handling pills and injections, so please just let me know their exact routine. Behavioral Quirks: Are they an escape artist? Do they have any resource guarding with toys or food? Fears & Triggers: Are they afraid of thunderstorms, loud noises, or the pool? (Though dogs are never outside unattended, it helps to know how they react to water!) Potty & Sleep Habits: Are they crate trained, or do they prefer to sleep on a dog bed?
