Sarah can care for
Availability
My job has me working three days a week, which means the other four days I’m fully available and dedicated to caring for pups! On my off days, I have flexible availability for walks and drop-ins. Even on my working days, I’m organized and intentional with my schedule, and I only accept bookings I know I can give proper time and attention to. I believe dogs deserve unhurried, dependable care - not just a quick stop-in. My goal is to provide consistency, communication, and peace of mind so you can feel confident your dog is well cared for. 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to maintaining your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible. Familiar environments help dogs feel secure, and I do everything I can to keep that consistency. I’m attentive during walks, mindful of surroundings, and cautious with other dogs and unfamiliar situations. Leashes, doors, gates, and feeding instructions are always double-checked. As a healthcare worker, I’m observant and quick to notice changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. You can trust that I will treat both your dog and your home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. Clear communication and photo updates are always part of the experience, so you feel connected and confident while you’re away. 🐾
Information Sarah A. would like to know about your pet
To provide the best possible care, I like to learn as much as I can about your dog before our first visit. Helpful details include their daily routine, feeding schedule, energy level, and any specific commands they know. Please let me know about any medical needs, medications, allergies, past injuries, or mobility limitations. I also appreciate knowing about leash behavior, reactivity to other dogs or people, and anything that may cause anxiety (loud noises, separation, etc.). If your dog has favorite toys, comfort items, or specific routines that help them feel secure, I’m happy to incorporate those as well. The more I understand ahead of time, the smoother and more enjoyable the experience will be for everyone. 🐾
A typical day
A typical day always centers around your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. That means consistent feeding times, potty breaks, and plenty of attention in between. For energetic pups, we’ll enjoy structured walks, playtime, and interactive games to help burn off energy in a healthy way. For more relaxed or senior dogs, I’m happy to provide slower strolls, gentle play, and calm companionship. I love incorporating enrichment when appropriate - whether that’s practicing basic commands, reinforcing good leash manners, or engaging them with toys and focused play. And of course, there will be plenty of affection, encouragement, and positive reinforcement along the way. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, engaged, and loved - and maybe a little happily tired by the end of the day. 🐾

Gentle Care You Can Trust 🐾
Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 10 years old. As soon as I was trusted with the responsibility, I was all in. Dogs have been a joyful and consistent part of my life ever since. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies who need structure and patience to senior dogs who benefit from a slower pace and extra gentleness. I understand how important routine, positive reinforcement, and consistency are for helping dogs feel safe and secure. As a healthcare worker, I bring an added level of attentiveness, responsibility, and calm patience to the dogs in my care. I’m detail-oriented, observant, and committed to making sure each dog’s physical and emotional needs are met. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” dogs - I truly engage with them. Whether that’s structured walks, playtime to burn energy, or relaxed companionship, I tailor my care to your dog’s unique personality. You can expect dependable communication, photo updates, and a sitter who genuinely enjoys every tail wag along the way. 🐾
Reviews
Sarah is super personable when it comes to caring for animals. She always makes sure to engage whatever dog she is caring for whether it is just hanging out and playing with the dog or walking around. I have seen so many dogs light up near her and they seem to just love her right back
