Hi! My name is Sara and I love dogs. My two rescues and I live in a four family house in Glendale with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to play. Sadie and Philly love to have pals over and love making new friends. Dog handling is in my blood. My grandmother was a breeder and trainer for Guide Dogs of America. Because of her, I have experience with pregnant mothers and newborns. My knack for leash and obedience training came from her as well. I used to manage a dog daycare in Brooklyn and run my own dog walking business back in the day. Now I work from home and have all the time in the world to hang out with dogs! Growing up, my parents had a malamute, a Dalmatian, a lab/setter mix, and a lab/pittie mix. I raised these dogs with my father and learned to care for animals starting from a very young age. My father was a professional dog trainer in Southern California and worked specifically with rescues from kill shelters and aggressive dogs. He taught me everything he knew about training them. Though my first encounters with dogs had been bigger breeds, I found a warm spot in my heart for small breeds I met when I moved to the city. I love all dogs. Our house is perfect for your pet because it is on a quiet street in a quiet neighborhood with its own private backyard. There aren't too many rules here. There are five steps leading up to the house and five steps to the backyard. If your dog is older or has joint issues, this may be worth a consideration. I am experienced and capable to help dogs up and down stairs, but it may not be the best fit if it would stress your pup out. In a perfect world, we could make the arrangements for our dogs to meet at a dog park nearby before the boarding dates, but I realize that everyone has busy schedules and that may not always be possible. At the very least, I would like to meet you and your dog beforehand. I offer a pickup and drop-off service for an additional fee and introduce my dogs to new dogs on neutral territory with a long walk. I have been doing this professionally since 2015. The amenities in my space, my extensive experience, and the wonderful time your pup will have with us are what make staying with us extra special. It truly is your pup's second home. Sara was amazing. She’s the best sitter we’ve used. Communicative, caring, and a kind and thoughtful human. Toffy was right at home with Philly and Sadie, who quickly invited her into their pack. Bonus, having a backyard for Toffy to enjoy was ideal. She was in heaven. Psyched we found Sara and team. They took incredible care of Toffy. We will definitely be back. Highlight, they were within walking distance. And an important somewhat random note that helped seal the deal for us, my good buddy left a glowing review of their experience with Sara. Had no idea they used Sara for their dog. It was a moment of kismet. Grateful we found Sara.
First time having a ca sitter who wasn’t a personal friend and they put me at ease with the whole thing. Very kind but still professional and my cat instantly got along with them which was great!
Just used Sara’s services for the first time and can’t say enough good things. We had an initial meet and greet to get to know her and her two pups to see if it would be a good fit. We felt comfortable right away as it was clear she had a lot of experience. We had a special request for daily eye drops which she managed with no problems at all. We received daily updates and had a stress free trip due to the fact that we knew our pup was in great hands. Would absolutely use her services in the future.

Sara was absolutely amazing! My pup came back so tired from all the fun she had playing with other dogs. Sara met me at the park a week before my trip to make sure our dogs would have a great time together. She was so accommodating to my last minute changes, would 100% recommend her!

Schedule
I have pets so it is built into my routine and since I work from home, we can keep a regular schedule. I feed them twice a day and walk them twice a day and let them out for breaks in the yard throughout the day.

There is a cute dog park around my house that we can go to if the weather is nice. sometimes we will go on longer walks to the reservoir where there are more places to run freely.
