I’m semi-retired having worked in the police for many years. I now work a couple of days at the local hospital so have plenty of time to walk or look after your dog(s).

I have a fenced in rear garden completely safe for dogs which they would have access to at any time. Any dog I look after would be cared for like my own. They would be walked and cuddled and obviously I would be chatting to them through the day!!

Please let me know any special quirks your dog may have. How they are with other dogs and their preference from short walks and playtime at home or Long Beach walks - can be a few hours if required. How is their recall or should they be kept on leads - are they scared of anything? Just let me know what you think is important to ensure your dog has the best possible time with me.
A typical day
Lots of lovely walks to meet the needs of the dog. Can be a sniffing walk or long walks even runs if they like this. Access to large green spaces and the beach. Lots of cuddles, toys and company to make sure the dog is at their happiest. Will meet the needs of what the owner wants (within reason!!) and make their day fun and exciting. The occasional coffee stop may be built as well!

I adore dogs having been the proud owner of a boxer, springer, patterdale and Jack Russell. All have now passed over rainbow bridge after very long, happy lives but I’m not ready to commit to owning an another dog yet. I have looked after friend’s dogs, borrowed dogs and have extensive experience on looking after dogs in their own homes. I treat them all as my own and enjoy long walks on the beach or just keeping fur babies company or playing on the garden. Whatever you dog needs or prefers I will make sure they come first whilst in my care. Having all my dogs reach fantastic ages I have lots of experience with the golden oldies and even have a pet push chair for when those walks become a little bit too difficult but why should they miss out on all that glorious fresh air and smells!!

Sara and Lee are lovely and you can tell they are a dog lovers! Our little Aiko was staying with Sara and Lee last Sunday for a very first time and it all went great! We have arranged a meet&greet a few days before Aiko's stay and had a very nice walk together when Sara and Lee could get to know Aiko and learn about a few of her quirks. Aiko was super excited to meet with Sara and Lee again on Sunday for her stay. She has been treated to a lovely long walk on the beach (one of Aiko's favourite places) and spotting squirrels in the garden. Even though Aiko's stay was just for a few hours, we have received an update with pictures on how the day is going. Aiko's first stay with Sara and Lee went very well and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much for looking after our madame - we have collected a very happy puppy=)
Sara is a such an amazing and loving pet caregiver. All the dogs love her and she goes an extra mile in looking after them, always making sure they do their walks or runs, take care of their meals and really gives them all her attention. I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough. If you are looking for someone who will love your pets like you do, then Sara is your person 100%. .
I have known Sara for several years. She has owned her own dogs in the past. Since her dogs passed away she has dedicated all the time she could to dog sitting either in her own home or in the dogs own environment. She is completely trustworthy and treats every dog like she would her own. She is a marathon runner so taking dogs on long walks will be no bother. She is the kindest person I know so you couldn't have a better person working with your team.
