Availability
I offer drop ins and walks at all hours of the day! I generally complete morning drop ins from 7-10am, mid-day breaks/dog walks 11am-3pm, and evening visits 7-10pm. After earning my masters degree in occupational therapy and working as a therapist for years, I have a deep appreciation for how special our pets are and how critical it is to have a responsible, trustworthy sitter in your home. Your fur baby will be given lots of attention, playtime, and love! I’m meticulously detail-oriented, thorough, and responsible with your home’s security and safety. I provide very detailed visit summaries and at least 2 photos per visit unless otherwise requested. I want you to feel updated and reassured about your pet’s well-being under my care.

Safety, trust & environment
I am able to do drop in visits for playtime, walking, feeding, or snuggling! I will make sure any pet messes are clean, doors locked, and any other specific needs you have such as bringing in packages off the porch are handled. My clients praise my attention to detail and thorough reports.
Information Sara W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog requires medications, treats they prefer or any training you’d like me to work on when we’re together! Any local emergency contacts or preferred vet clinic are appreciated.
A typical day
A typical flow for a drop in visit includes potty break, meal, play time, another potty break, snuggles, and then securing the home before I leave. I will tend to not only the physical but also mental and emotional needs of your pet since I know it can be stressful and lonely while their humans are away. We’ll spend our time walking, playing fetch, chasing bubbles, and stopping to sniff along the way. I have experience with the needs of puppies through senior/end of life and ensuring their safety based on breed vs weather/temperature. My own dogs overheat easily and I am extra attentive when it’s hot outside. We can incorporate some training exercises upon request, as well!

Caring for your furbabies as my own
Pet care experience
As a lifelong pet owner- dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and hermit crabs- I have a wealth of personal experience. I am pet CPR/First Aid certified and previously worked at an emergency animal hospital where I learned to quickly assess the need for emergency care. Currently, I have a senior rescue dog and a 1 year old dog that I have raised and trained from 10 weeks old. I also have a senior kitty and a freshwater fish tank. Your home and pets will be taken care of with thorough and loving care, as I am a homeowner myself and a mom and I empathize with how it feels to leave your home and precious babies!

Reviews

I have an incredibly shy cat and an incredible bold kitty and they were both very well cared for by Sara. She sent me lots of pictures and updates and I am very appreciative.

Couldn’t imagine anyone else watching our pets, Sara goes above and beyond and is such a blessing

Sara W is an outstanding pet sitter who truly went above and beyond! She showed genuine care and concern for my dogs from start to finish, thoughtfully assessing their moods, personalities, and needs each day. She spent time playing with them, petting them, and genuinely loving on them as if they were her own. Her communication was exceptional. I received frequent photos, videos, and detailed updates, which gave me so much peace of mind and were truly appreciated. When one of my dogs unexpectedly needed emergency care, Sara acted quickly and responsibly, rushing them to the ER vet and keeping me fully informed while communicating clearly with both me and the veterinary team. Her calm, compassionate handling of the situation meant everything to me. I would absolutely use Sara again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and caring pet sitter.

Sara is great! Always dependable, always on time. We can tell our kitty loves her from the pictures and videos she sends. I highly recommend her
