Your Dog’s Home Away from Home
I have had dogs my entire life and currently have a sweet 7 year old Yorkie mix who is definitely the center of our household. If your pup is used to a home where they get lots of attention, then ours is the right fit. I volunteer with the Hotel for Homeless Dogs in Cumberland and understand the patience and love dogs need when with someone new or in an unfamiliar place.

Schedule
I’m a teacher so my summers and weekends are relatively free and I would love to spend some of July and August caring for your pup. During the summer, I usually take my dog Petey on about 4 walks a day and would love to bring your pup along as well. I do only take small- medium sized dogs as Petey can sometimes be intimidated by larger breeds. I live with my husband and stepchildren who have had dogs all their lives and understand how to be around them.

I have an unfenced yard and live in a quiet neighborhood. I love going for dog walks and you can be assured your pup will be outside for a good portion of the day. I can crate your dog if you like, but we don’t crate our own.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on neighborhood walks and visit the local hiking trails for some variety in their outings. We are a very dog friendly home so pets spend time cuddling on the couches. We love playing with toys and practicing tricks.
