Dog Lover Looking To Hang With Pups
Hi! I’m Sara — an ICU nurse, lifelong dog lover, and someone who truly enjoys caring for animals of all personalities and energy levels. I’m also about to start graduate school in the fall to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner. My hope is to minimize my time working in the hospitals while I’m in school and spend more time surrounded by dogs 🐾. I’ve been around dogs my whole life, from small Shih Tzus to larger Pitbulls, and I genuinely believe every dog deserves patience, affection, and individualized care. Being a nurse has made me dependable, attentive, and comfortable following detailed routines or special instructions. My work schedule also gives me flexibility with weekdays and availability for walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, and last-minute bookings. My dream someday is to have enough land to foster senior dogs and pups from high-kill shelters who just need extra love and a safe place to land. Until then, I love getting to care for dogs through Rover and treating them like family while their owners are away. I’m happy to come to your home or host your pup at mine, and I love bringing dogs along on walks, coffee shop outings, and local trails if they enjoy adventures too. Communication is really important to me, so you can always expect lots of updates, photos, and attentive care while your pet is with me!

I’ll make sure to keep the routine you have with them the same so they have that consistency. When they’re with me they’ll have their leash on when we’re out and about. I’d also like to make sure they have a collar with their name and info on it just for an extra layer of protection. When I go anywhere with my dog I bring a doggie first aid kit and am able to use it if anything were to happen.

Sara was awesome, she accepted my boarding request at late notice which helped a lot. She also took great care of Ty, sent lots of pictures, and made me feel at ease. I'd use her services again for sure.
Sara was great with our 7 month old lab pup Indy!! She was positive, playful with Indy and knows a lot about dogs! Sara was comfortable at our house and respectful of our guidelines. We’ll be happy to have her again!
Our puppy Hunter stayed with Sara overnight while we took a weekend trip to visit our family. Sara was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable knowing that Hunter would be in safe hands. We really loved that Sara worked from home, so that we knew Hunter wouldn’t be left alone and it was nice to get several picture and video updates throughout the day of all the fun that Hunter was having. She did a great job of following our care instructions and keeping Hunter active and occupied. We definitely recommend Sara for anyone who needs someone to take care of their pet while away!

Zeitplan
Being a nurse gives me the flexibility to work when I want to essentially. I have a lot of free time (4-5 days off a week) and would love to spend some of that playing with your pup.
