Safety, trust & environment

---------- My home is a calm, clean, smoke-free and flea-free environment where your pup can truly relax. The large, fully fenced yard is a favorite where pups are always supervised, and gates are kept securely fastened at all times. Outside, pups can sunbathe on Coolaroo dog hammocks, stretch out on the soft grass, or play with a variety of toys including squeaky favorites and Chuck-It balls. In warmer months I set up a doggy pool for pups who love a splash! Inside, I often play calming meditation music during the day, though I'm happy to keep it quiet if your pup prefers it. Before your stay, I love learning about your pup's routine, personality, feeding schedule, allergies, energy level, and any special quirks. The more I know, the smoother and happier their visit will be. I know how much trust it takes to hand your dog off to someone new. I've been in your shoes, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is simple: to give your pup the same love and care I'd want for my own. ----------

Information Sara V. would like to know about your pet

---------- Health & Safety: Are they up to date on flea prevention and vaccinations? Do they have any medical needs or require special care? Any allergies or dietary restrictions? Personality & Behavior: Are they an early riser or more of a night owl? Do they enjoy solo time, or do they prefer being around people? Do they have any unique quirks or behaviors I should know about? Are they sensitive to loud noises, busy streets, or new environments? On Walks: How do they react to other animals during walks? Are there any triggers or things to avoid? At Home: Are they fully potty trained? What does their usual daily routine look like? The more I know, the better I can ensure a safe, comfortable, and happy stay for your pup! ----------

A typical day

---------- Morning kicks off with a potty break, breakfast at their usual time, and a neighborhood walk at whatever pace suits your pup. Midday is relaxed and unhurried, whether that means backyard exploration, a game of fetch, or simply soaking up the sun on a Coolaroo hammock. On warm days, the doggy pool makes an appearance for pups who enjoy a splash! Afternoon is perfect for winding down. A short stroll, some quiet time indoors, or a cozy nap on a dog bed with calming music playing softly in the background. Evening wraps up with a final outing, dinner at their usual time, and plenty of calm cuddle time before bed. ---------

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm Sara! I'm a lifelong dog lover with over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. I also have a background with cats, horses, and small animals, so your pup is truly in experienced hands. A little about me: - Completed multiple K9 obedience training courses - Experienced with senior dogs, puppies, and everything in between - Volunteer with an equestrian therapy program - Fellow pet owner to a senior pup. I know how much your dog means to you! What to expect: I offer a calm, loving home environment with a large fenced yard where pups can relax and roam freely. I take only one family at a time, giving your pup a true 1:1 experience. They are never lost in a crowd. Throughout the day I take pups on morning, afternoon, and evening walks, tailored to your dog's pace and energy level. You'll receive daily updates with photos + videos so you always know how your pup is doing. Let's get started: I'd love to schedule a "Meet & Sniff" before your first booking so your dog can get comfortable with me and my space. I welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes and am happy to answer any questions. My goal is for both you and your pup to feel completely at ease!

Sara was so kind and wonderful to my dog. She was more than accommodating with the intricacies of dealing with an elderly dog. She sent updates and photos, keeping me posted on how the stay was going. I felt such a relief knowing my dog was being so well cared for and we will definitely be staying with Sara again.
