Availability

Pet care is a meaningful part of my daily life and I’ve structured my week to ensure I can give each pet the time and attention they deserve. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday: I’m available starting at 2:30 PM or later, perfect for afternoon training sessions or evening daycare. Thursday, Friday and Sunday: I’m available all day, offering flexible booking for doggy day care and training, including early morning or mid-day sessions. I currently balance pet care with a second job, but once I’m available, my focus is fully on your pet’s safety, comfort and routine. Your pet’s well-being is always my top priority.

Information Sara T. would like to know about your pet

Tell me what your daily routine is like and who I should contact in case of an emergency. Please let me know if: Your dog has any special needs (ex: blind, deaf, etc). Your dog has any behavioral traits that I should be aware of (ex: bone aggressive, fearful, etc). Your dog has any medical conditions or allergies. Your dog needs medication. Your dog is a puppy.

A typical day

For doggy day care, the day starts with a warm welcome, followed by time to settle in and get comfortable. We rotate between playtime, potty breaks, enrichment activities (like snuffle mats or puzzles) and rest periods to ensure a balanced day. Whether it’s indoor relaxation or outdoor exploration, I tailor the day to each dog’s energy level and personality. If your pup is enrolled in a training session, we work on essential skills like loose-leash walking, sit/stay, recall and impulse control using positive reinforcement. Sessions are short, fun and engaging to help your dog build confidence and good habits without feeling overwhelmed. Throughout the day, I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel connected and confident that your pup is in caring hands. My goal is always to make each visit a positive, structured and tail-wagging experience!

Pet care experience

I've been surrounded by animals my whole life and caring for them has always been a natural part of who I am. From dogs and cats to small animals and farm pets, I’ve gained hands-on experience through years of personal ownership and deep love for animals. In 2021, I began offering professional pet care services, including walking, boarding and drop-in visits. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of pets—each with their own personality, needs and quirks. Today, I specialize in doggy day care and basic obedience training, focusing on safe, structured, and enriching experiences for every dog in my care. Whether it’s helping a pup burn energy in a positive environment or working on manners and foundational skills, I’m committed to making each visit fun, safe and stress-free—for both dogs and their humans. I am Dog CPR + First Aid Certified. I also practice Animal Reiki that has many benefits for any animal!

Sara has taken care of my two dogs and two cats while I was at work or out of town. She cares for them as if they are her own and they love to see her. She has also taught the dogs some new tricks. I would highly recommend Sara to be your pet sitter.
