Foster. Adopt. Volunteer. Donate
I have been fostering dogs for a little over 12 years now. I foster failed(adopted) my first foster Bill. Since then, I have had over 50 dogs come into my home and get adopted out to amazing forever homes. I am a current Foster through Needy Paws Rescue and occasionally dog sit for some former foster pups of mine. I started dog sitting through Rover in late 2016 and have enjoyed getting to know all of my new pup/human friends! I have experience with puppies(potty-training and chewers), adult dogs, active dogs, as well as feral dogs. You name it, I have probably fostered it. Any spare time I have is dedicated to dogs, whether it's mine or a shelter pup. I love going for long walks and socializing them. Both of my sons were very young when I started fostering and couldn't be more excited when we have a new pup visit our home. They are now 15 and 9. It would be our pleasure to help you with any of your requests for your Fur-baby! Take a look at my pictures(there are a few shots of our 1/3 acre fenced in yard).

Short notice booking over Christmas, did great with our 2 high energy mid-sized dogs. Excellent communication too.

Schedule
I’m currently working from home M T and F. I go into the office on W and every other Th (so 6 days a month). I’m gone from 8-3pm those days. My husband gets home at 2:30pm, so between the two of us your pup will rarely be alone during the day. They will get tons of play time in the backyard and walks around the block.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I do have a younger child so small toys and things such as socks will be out occasionally. If your dog/puppy makes a habit of swallowing these things quickly my home is not the place for them. I’m not worried about the items being chewed, but don’t want your pup getting sick if they do make a habit of swallowing things.
Pets
A typical day
We love going on walks around the neighborhood or playing fetch in our HUGE yard. Dexter is always eager to meet new friends (after a 5 min slow intro) and romp around endlessly with them if they want. He can also be low key if there’s a dog that doesn’t play much.
