Safety, trust & environment
I have been walking dogs and doing drop ins for cats and dogs professionally for over 14 years. I am now available full time for care in the Standish, Buxton, and Gorham areas. I LOVE my job! Taking care of dogs and cats was my heart’s calling and I’ve never looked back. Getting to know your furry critters and building a trusting, mutually beneficial relationship with them is my favorite thing in the world. Every dog and cat has a unique personality and I enjoy learning what works (and what doesn’t work!) for them and lovingly cater to their specific needs, likes, and dislikes.

Information Sara T. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog is reactive and what their triggers are, if they have any guarding behaviors (water or food bowl, toys, etc), medical conditions, allergies, severe separation anxiety (just so I know not to leave their side to take out the trash or something!) or are showing signs of illness.
A typical day
Walks in the neighborhood or nearby areas, enrichment activities like puzzle toys or snuffle mats if available, and fetch or playtime with toys (if they enjoy that).

14 yrs professional experience!
Pet care experience
I have been working with dogs and cats professionally since May of 2012 with my primary focus on dog walking. From puppies to seniors, I have walked and pet sat all temperaments and ages of dogs. I have a year and a half of basic dog training experience, which also included working with reactive and anxious dogs. Being fluent in dog body language is essential! Subcutaneous injections are also a part of my skill set, as I used to have a diabetic cat that needed insulin injections twice daily as well as a client that needed Adequan injections twice a week.

Reviews

I just love how much my puppy loves working Sara. She's been a life saver!

We love Sara! Our girls are always happy to see her and she is always happy to see them. She even added on 2 visits for a week that we had a last minute need. Sara comes once a week and we will continue using her services for as long as she will keep coming! Thanks so much Sara! Love, Muncie and Pepper

Sara did a wonderful job with drop-in visits for our two cats! Followed all instructions, sent detailed updates and lots of photos, and was vey patient with our shyer cat. Would highly recommend and book again.

Sara does an amazing job with my deaf border collie. I love how happy she is to see him every week. I think it is great that she wants to learn about him and how to work with him. She really puts in the time to make sure we are all on the same page with him.
