I have been working with dogs and cats professionally since May of 2012 with my primary focus on dog walking. From puppies to seniors, I have walked and pet sat all temperaments and ages of dogs. I have a year and a half of basic dog training experience, which also included working with reactive and anxious dogs. Being fluent in dog body language is essential! Subcutaneous injections are also a part of my skill set, as I used to have a diabetic cat that needed insulin injections twice daily as well as a client that needed Adequan injections twice a week.

I have been walking dogs and doing drop ins for cats and dogs professionally for over 14 years. I am now available full time for care in the Standish, Buxton, and Gorham areas. I LOVE my job! Taking care of dogs and cats was my heart’s calling and I’ve never looked back. Getting to know your furry critters and building a trusting, mutually beneficial relationship with them is my favorite thing in the world. Every dog and cat has a unique personality and I enjoy learning what works (and what doesn’t work!) for them and lovingly cater to their specific needs, likes, and dislikes.

Our dog Joe has some anxiety issues and it’s been hard to find the “right human” when we need to arrange pet care. Not anymore. Sara is AMAZING. She is kind, patient, gentle. She seems to instinctively understand how to navigate around his anxiety so that he feels safe and comfortable. We trust her completely and Joe has a new friend who we absolutely invite back again. We cannot recommend her enough 🥹
Sara is great with our dogs! She sent a thorough report card and photos from the drop in visit. We are excited to have her on a weekly schedule!

Sara did a wonderful job with drop-in visits for our two cats! Followed all instructions, sent detailed updates and lots of photos, and was vey patient with our shyer cat. Would highly recommend and book again.

Schedule
I am available any day of the week for walks and drop ins from about 7am - 8pm. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, I would love to hear from you!

- Please let me know if your dog is reactive and what their triggers are, if they have any guarding behaviors (water or food bowl, toys, etc), medical conditions, allergies, severe separation anxiety (just so I know not to leave their side to take out the trash or something!) or are showing signs of illness.
