Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced backyard and no personal pets so yours will get all the attention! Pets will be cared for on schedules similar to their home as per clients request. This includes crate time, play time, feeding time, walks, enrichment and many other things. Pets can also be sectioned off from certain areas of the house with gates.

Information Sara S. would like to know about your pet
Be prepared to provide a lot of information about your dog! This is all for safety during your dog's stay and to let me know if I would be a good fit, as I will not take dogs that I cannot handle. Things to let me know are: Breed/size of your dog Medical conditions (along with medication and directions on how to administer and how often) Veterinary contact (if local) Emergency contact (if I cannot get a hold of the owner) Behavioral issues along with normal behavior/personality traits as a baseline: How energetic is your dog? Do any situations make them stressed? How affectionate are they? Training: How trained are they? Do they know basic commands (sit, down, stay)? How do you discipline your dog? How are their leash manners on a walk? Crate trained? How well socialized is your dog around people, other animals (including wildlife), and children? House Rules: What does a typical day look like for you and your dog (meal/walk times, exercise, sleep time)? Are they allowed on the furniture? Do they need to be crated at night/when left alone?
A typical day
Clients are highly suggested to provide familiar daily activities that their dogs enjoy, but generic fun things we will do include, but are not limited to walks, local park visits, and enrichment such as snuffle mats or lick mats for mental stimulation!

Providing Genuine Pet Care!
Pet care experience
I am a college graduate with a BT in Canine Training and Management, where I’ve learned all about the maintenance, behavior, and training of dogs. I also have much experience with family and friends' pets (cats and dogs)! In addition, I frequently volunteer at animal shelters. I love all dog and cats, but I will not take on things I cannot handle such as pets with aggressive behaviors/temperaments (resource guarding, aggressiveness to other animals/people, etc.).
Cat care experience

Sara also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

We’re a repeat client. Our boy was well cared for by Sara. She is very attentive to his needs and is always responsive.

Sara and her home were the perfect fit for our anxious dog, Mazie. Sara is very knowledgeable about dogs, their behaviors, and how to handle them. She successfully gave Mazie medication 3 times a day and prepared special meals for her. We received photos via text while we were away showing how happy and acclimated Mazie was there. We have already booked another stay with Sara. Thank you Sara!!!
Sara was very attentive and updated me about Demi. I felt she was in good hands !

Sara was great! Very communicative and Zooey had a great stay with her!
