I primarily provide care in clients’ homes to ensure pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I always follow each pet’s routine closely, prioritize safety on walks and outings, keep a clean and calm space, and provide lots of attention, supervision, and affection throughout the day and overnight. For overnights I generally prefer 2+ night bookings when possible. Single-night stays are available at a higher rate due to the additional logistics involved.

I like to learn about each pet’s routine, personality, energy level, and any behavioral quirks ahead of time. It’s also helpful to know about medical needs, medications, feeding schedules, leash manners, and how they do with other dogs or new environments. I always love learning their favorite treats, toys, activities, and what helps them feel most comfortable and happy.
A typical day
It all depends on your pet’s vibe! For dogs, that might look like a morning walk or hike, followed by some chill time at home, meals on their usual schedule, and attention throughout the day-whether that’s fetch, belly rubs, or just keeping them company. Overnight stays include up to 30 minutes per visit for walks, potty breaks, meals, and playtime. Additional extended walks, hikes, or extra exercise can be added for an additional fee due to the extra time/energy required. 😊 For cats, I keep things calm and consistent—fresh food, clean litter, playtime if they’re into it, and space when they need it. I always try to stick closely to your routines so your pets feel safe, happy, and right at home.

Sara was great! Our pup took to her right away, and we left on our trip with no worries at all. We are very attentive to our little baby, and Sara recognized that immediately. She kept us in the loop as to how she was doing and sent us pictures regularly to show that she was in good spirits. We returned to a happy pup, a clean home and enjoyed our closing converation with Sara. Would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again.

Sara is AMAZING! We’ve have two older, high maintenance pets (meds, frequent potty breaks, etc) and I can finally travel again stress free thanks to her reliability and communication! Our pets loved her from the moment she arrived. She gives us regular updates and the house is spotless when she leaves. She’s also just a great human :) SO thankful to have met her and would highly recommend.
