Dogs will get lots of play time!
My name is Sara. I have a nine year old chocolate lab who is my best friend. I bring her just about everywhere with me. I grew up with three golden retrievers and have taken care of dogs all of my life. My house is perfect for dog sitting as I have a big back yard for the dogs to run around, and have wooded trails out back to take them on walks. There is also a dog park with trails less than 5 minutes from my house where I take Moose frequently. I have frisbees, balls, and lots of chew toys for your dog and mine! I give the pups lots of exercise everyday and always find fun things to do with them. Sometimes all they want to do is lay around and cuddle, and I am perfectly okay with that too! Dogs are welcome to sleep on the bed or wherever they feel most comfortable! I have wooded trails out back of my house, mountains close by to go on hikes, the saco river to go swimming in, and Scarborough land trust trails close by. I will not only care for your dog, but love them like my own and give them lots of attention, snuggles, walks, and play. Moose gets along great with all breeds of dogs! You can rest assured that your dog will be well taken care of on their stay. Moose and I look forward to meeting your furry friend!

Sara and her dog (Moose) took excellent care of Colbert during his recent stay. Colbert does not do well in traditional kennels (he needs the personal attention and tends to be a wallflower with a big pack of dogs). When I picked him up after a recent 12-day stay, he was pleased to see me, but not at all frantic. He seemed quite relaxed. That is a very good sign.
Sara did an awesome job taking care of my golden retriever Leo. She was communicative and made him feel right at home with plenty of walks and play time.
This was the first time leaving my puppy. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation because I knew she was being taken care of. Sara sent me photos and updates on how my puppy was doing. I would definitely recommend her.
Sara was great! My pups both had a blast. Loved the pics of them playing.

Schedule
I am usually always home, and have been watching dogs for years. I have plenty of time during the week and weekend to take care of the pups!

Moose is very friendly with all dogs and is used to have furry friends around. I have a large backyard with trails and a good setup in my house for watching dogs

A typical day
There are wooded trails that go off from my backyard, mountains close by to go on hikes, the saco river to go swimming in, and actually a pond right in my back yard that moose loves to take a dip in! Moose loves to go to for walks at Fuller Farm, Sewell Woods, and Broadturn Farm, which are all trails that are part of Scarborough Land Trust. I usually take her to the beach as well. I will play with your dog all day long and give them lots of love! I will make them feel right at home!

- I don't have any breed preference- big or small I love them all! I usually ask if your dog is fixed, up to date on shots, and what an average day is like for them. I ask if your pet is friendly with other dogs- however I don't see this being a problem as Moose loves every person and animal she meets. My top priority is that your pet is comfortable during their stay so if there is any concern about how your dog will interact with other dogs, I always encourage a short meet and greet to introduce them. If your dogs have any medical conditions, allergies, or restrictions just let me know and I will make sure to keep your pet's routine the same as if they were with you.
