Home-Away-From-Home Dog Care
With 20+ years of experience caring for dogs, we provide personalized, in-home dog care in a warm and cozy setting. Our home is perfectly located across the street from a dog park and surrounded by scenic walking paths, ideal for your pup's outdoor adventures. We work from home most of the week, ensuring plenty of midday walks, playtime, and companionship. Your dog will feel right at home with us, whether they’re enjoying a romp in the park or curling up on a comfy bed after a fun day. Let us give your furry friend the care, love, and attention they deserve! I (Sara) grew up always having dogs in the home. We mostly had bigger dogs (labs and golden retrievers). In adulthood, we had our previous dog (a husky-lab mix, named Toby) for 12 years and after losing him in April of 2023, we welcomed Julep (a smaller, terrier mix) to our family in October 2023. She is a great playmate and is almost as excited to welcome new friends to our house as we are.

Sarah & Ryan are absolutely exceptional in the way they take care and give so much love & attention to their pet guest :). We truly appreciate you accommodating our last-minute flight delays and keeping Tofu for an extra day. It was such a relief knowing she was in good hands. Sara is an excellent candidate to be a Rover caregiver. She has had multiple dogs of her own and has showered them with love. She has a wonderful dog right now who is very sweet and loving. A great communicator and active individual, Sara would be the perfect addition to Rover.
Sara is sooo good with our slightly anxious old boy, Cookie. You can tell she just loves dogs, on top of that she is very good at communicating and sending pictures, if that's what you want! I would highly recommend :)

Schedule
We both work fulltime, but often work from home. The days I (Sara) do go into the office I am usually back by lunchtime and only work a couple miles away. And, with a furry visitor in our home, we would probably elect to work from home during the full length of their stay.

We recognize that every furry family member is unique and has specific/individual needs. We pride ourselves on making sure we learn/understand all those details ahead of time so that we can make our home as comfortable and familiar as possible while you are away and we are caring for your family member.

A typical day
We'll show your dog around the variety of paths in our neighborhood, there are lots of good sights (and smells!) out there! And if it's rotten weather we have a great big basement where we'll play and run around.
