I currently work from home 9-5 in the Oakland area. I’m an active adult who already likes to walk throughout my day and would love to add a dog friend to that! I would have time at lunch, as well as before or after work to care for your dog. My lunch is flexible so I can work around you! On weekends I have open availability. In the middle of work days I would not be able to provide more than 30 minutes walking or spending time with your dog, but before/after week days and during weekends I could spent up to and hour with your dog to give them extra love!

It would be important to know if the dog is leash trained or not (either is okay!). For walking it would be good to know if the area around the house is a good place to walk your dog, or if there is a different location that both you and your dog may prefer! Also if the dog has and specific needs. I want to be able to give your dog the best care possible so any details that you can give me to be able to do that would be great!

I love to take dogs out for long walks to get them exercise! I will care for them however needed before and after walk whether that’s feeding them , giving them some extra love, playing games, whatever it must be!

I have been volunteering in a local animal shelter for about 6 months and after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh I am looking to commit more time to helping out the people and pets in my community! In the shelter I helped admitted lost animals and I have experience walking and taking dogs out for field trips. During field trips I would walk dogs through frick park, relax on my porch, and take them to get a pup cup! I loved being able to help out the dogs and give them the love they deserve! I have passed the Fear Free shelter program and have experience with dog walking as well as caring for my family’s own cat and dog. I am excited to start this new journey!

Sara is an amazing person, who I believe is great to walk and care for your dogs! Sara is a very kind and caring person! She is very responsible, patient, and always on time! She has loved animals and has met many furry friends throughout her time volunteering at an animal shelter. She also loved to go on walks daily. I trust Sara with my pets always and they love her.
