Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining their usual routine to minimize stress and keep them comfortable. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and enrichment tailored to each pet’s personality and needs. I also keep a close eye on their health and behavior—thanks to my medical background, I can quickly spot any signs of concern. Whether it’s feeding, walking, administering medication, or just spending quality time, I aim to make your pet feel safe, happy, and well-cared-for in their own familiar space.

Information Sara R. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your pet, I like to know as much as possible to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience. It’s important for me to know their daily routine, medical history, any medications they’re taking, allergies, behavioral quirks, and how they typically react to new people or situations. I also like to know what comforts them—favorite toys, treats, or calming routines—as well as any triggers or things to avoid. The more I know up front, the better I can provide personalized care that keeps your pet safe, healthy, and happy while you’re away.

A typical day

A typical day with your pet includes a mix of care, play, and comfort tailored to their energy level and routine. For dogs, that might mean a morning walk, some backyard fetch or enrichment games, and a cozy cuddle session. For cats, I love interactive play with toys, brushing (if they enjoy it), and giving them plenty of affection and space when needed. I also make sure their feeding schedule, medication, and any special care instructions are followed exactly. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or more relaxed and low-key, I adjust our time together to make sure they’re happy, stimulated, and well-loved throughout the day.

Sara exceeded all expectations. She took such great care of my cats and my house while I was away. She was very communicative and sent lots of updates and cute pics. She will definitely be my first choice for the future!

Sara was great with the kitties. She managed Scarlet’s medicine schedule as well as ensured that they got some play time and attention each day. She was very communicative and send a few great pictures of the kitties while we were away so we could keep up with how they were doing. A++

Sara is my ultimate go-to person for dog care. This is her second time dog/house-sitting for me. Her love for animals is so apparent.. She has cared for my dog, Eli, with so much patience and love. Eli is a very nervous Formosan Mountain Dog who is extremely skittish and who sometimes struggles around other dogs. Eli LOVES Sara! Sara is very thorough with care instructions (feeding, potty, and administering medication) and took great care of my apartment. She is considerate and communicative-- she made sure to send me daily updates while I was away for three days which put me at ease. TY Sara! You're the best!

Sara is always attentive and caring with our pups, especially our oldest with several health issues. Our pups love hanging out with her!
