Safety, trust & environment
I always prioritize the safety and well-being of the pets I care for. I ensure they're comfortable, follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, and engage in playtime tailored to their needs. I keep the environment clean, respect clients' homes, and communicate regularly to maintain trust and transparency. If it's my first time caring for your pet, I provide an optional care guide for you to fill out with questions about your pet like walking routes, food schedule, favorite toys, and more. For house sits specifically, this includes questions like where cleaning supplies are located and house care preferences like watering plants and getting mail.
Information Sara P. would like to know about your pet
Prior to your first meet and greet, please let me know if your pet has any sensitivities (sounds, smells), behavioral considerations (biting, excessive barking/growling), medical needs, or energy level (shy and reserved vs. high energy and playful). The more details you share, the better I can prepare.

Caring Pet Sitter w/ Flexible Hours
Pet care experience
I have 3 years of hands-on pet care experience with a diverse range of animals, specializing in dog and cat care, with additional expertise caring for chickens, lizards, bunnies, and other pets. My clients appreciate my flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to handle both young puppies and senior pets with equal care and patience. I'm currently pursuing my dog behavioral training certification through GoodPup, giving me deeper insight into pet behavior and communication. I also bring an EVERLIT Pet First Aid Kit with me to every booking and walk—your pet's safety is my priority. What sets me apart is my commitment to exclusive, focused care. I don't have my own pets and I never double-book: your pet gets my complete, undivided attention. I work from home with flexible hours, which means I'm available throughout the day for their needs: morning and afternoon visits in a single day, weekend availability, or multi-week house sitting. This flexibility is especially valuable for puppies, seniors, and high-energy dogs that need consistent attention. My clients appreciate knowing their pet is receiving dedicated care in a calm, stress-free environment where I prioritize safety, respect your home, communicate transparently, and tailor care to each pet's unique personality.

Reviews

Sara stayed with Mara for the day and did a great job - she sent updates throughout the day and was very conscientious of Mara’s needs. We had some last-minute schedule changes that she easily accommodated. Thank you!

Sara is wonderful! We came home to a happy, relaxed pup and a tidy house. She sent us photos and an update each day, which was a comfort since Poppy is still a puppy. We will absolutely request her next time!

Sara is amazing and I couldn’t have asked for someone better to give me peace of mind that my puppy was in good hands for two days. Very responsible and communicates perfectly.

Sara looked after our pets (1 cat and 1 high energy sheepdog) for 3 nights & she was brilliant. Great communication, the pets really liked her and she left the house super clean. Thank you Sara, looking forward to booking you again soon!
