I am a student and work at the BOEC so I have a relatively flexible schedule. I am available both weekdays and weekends and am able to visit or stay over as long as your pet needs!

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their environment safe and consistent. I follow the pet’s usual routine and make sure to communicate updates and share pictures with clients. I keep an eye on the home’s safety by making sure doors are locked, food and cleaning items are out of reach, and the space stays tidy.

A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch is all about keeping them happy, active, and comfortable. I follow their typical routine and make sure they get plenty of love throughout it the day. I make sure they get plenty of attention, cuddles, and stimulation — whether that’s a game of fetch, walks, or a puzzle toy. For cats, I make sure to have some play time and give lots of affection (on their terms, of course!). I always tailor activities to each pet’s energy level and personality so they feel loved and cared for.

I’ve pet sat for over 10 years and I have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I take time to understand each pet’s routine and preferences so they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m patient, reliable, and give plenty of attention and playtime. Whether it’s walking energetic pups, bonding with cuddly kittens, or caring for senior pets with high needs, I make sure every pet feels loved and cared for.

It can be hard to leave on trips as a worrier, but with her care and attention to detail, we always feel completely confident that they’re in good hands. She’s also incredibly communicative — sending regular updates, photos, and notes that put our minds at ease every time. One time, our kitten needed to see a vet while we were away and she did an incredible job coordinating and keeping us updated. We’re so grateful to have found Sara!
