Hello! My name is Sara, I'm an Italian translator and I've been living in Lincoln for 14 years. I've had dogs my entire life (4 at the same time, at one point!). My beloved 13yo cavapoo, Mia, passed away in June 2024, leaving a gaping hole in my life that I'm now eager to fill by looking after other people's dogs. Mia was on heart medication for the last 2 years of her life, so I have extensive experience in administering tablets to dogs and taking care of any other special needs senior dogs may have (frequent toilet breaks, shorter walks, etc.). Conversely, I can also look after younger, more energetic dogs: I regularly walk Reggie, a 1-year-old black Labrador who's extremely full of energy (as you'd expect from a Labrador pup!), as well as several young cockapoos, spaniels and Cavalier King Charles. I'm a very active person who loves the outdoors - I'm a keen runner and hiker, so you can rest assured your dog will get all the exercise they need whilst in my care! I am FULLY INSURED as a dog sitter, which means you can have 100% peace of mind whenever I am walking your dog or taking care of them, either in my home or at yours. Your dog will always be the ONLY dog I look after (unless you have more than one dog living together, of course!). I believe every pooch deserves my undivided attention at all times, and that's exactly what they'll get whilst in my care. Would you like your dog to socialise more? No problem, I have friends who live nearby who are always happy to go for a walk with their lovely, well-behaved dogs, so that your pup can make new friends and get used to other pups and to being in social settings. I have recently taken sweet Rita on a long walk that culminated with Sunday lunch at the Pyewipe and she absolutely loved it! Not to mention Renzo getting all the attention at Caffè Portico during a coffee break 🥰 I live in central Lincoln and work from home. I'm self-employed and own a car, both of which give me maximum flexibility. If you need someone to stay in your house to ensure your dogs' comfort and avoid stressing them out in a new environment, I'm happy to work from your home. I can also look after them in my own house - I have a secure courtyard with a locked gate and my house is obviously dog-friendly. I'm happy for your dog to spend time on all of my soft furnishings with me, if that's what they're used to, and they will have access to every room in the house, so they can explore as they please and find the perfect spot to relax and feel comfortable in. Additionally, I'm happy to pop in for a quick visit to check on your dogs during the day and/or take them out for a long walk while you're at work. And, if it's cuddles they crave, there's plenty of those waiting for them! I absolutely love dogs and can't wait to give them all the attention they need and deserve.
