I have a fenced yard with plenty of space for zoomies! My two pups love having guests over and essentially act as my ‘assistant managers’ by gently welcoming their new visitor and offering to play! Luckily, both Benji and Leo are respectful socially and understand when a pup is asking for space. If not, I’m able to step in and gently redirect. In the event that I have to step away from my house, I keep all dogs are separated, whether in a crate, a play pen, or a calm, dog safe room to ensure safety.

What is your dogs typical activity level? Are there certain stimuli that your dog is overly reactive to? Does your pup have any allergies I should know about?
A typical day
This is very much dependent on the pup! If it’s a nice day out and your furry friend likes to adventure, we will likely roam around a park, play fetch, sniff out treats from the grass, etc. Rainy day? Looks like we will rely on our snuffle mat, some indoor fetch, and a fun dog-safe snuggle fort with comfy orthopedic beds!

Pet care experience
For the last decade or so, I have been the first call made when a friend or family member has plans to go out of town (or out for a night on the town). Let’s face it. Finding someone who can love and protect your own pet the way you would is challenging, to say the least. Being a dog owner myself, I understand the indescribable love we feel for our fur babies. Lucky for you, I utilize my background in psychology to create a safe atmosphere for the dogs I am responsible for. Dogs need enrichment and positive associations. I rely on natural (or homemade) snuffle mats and other enrichment methods to give your pup mental exercise and I won’t shy away from a competitive (but safe) game of tug-of-war, a fun jog/run, or a walk to get our physical exercise. I’m looking forward to meeting your furry friend!

Sara was THE BEST! My kitty is pretty particular and even ate treats out of her hand (this is very high praise)! I don’t go out of town often but I will be sure to use Sara again!

Sara is amazing! Very communicative with her texts and photos, giving me the reassurance that my pup was being well cared for as well as entertained with both human and canine interaction...play time, bark park, walks, and naps. Sara is our go to for all future boarding needs!
Cannot say enough how pleased I was with Sara's drop-in visits with Tony. Sarah did a superb job making Tony feel comfortable as possible as well as sent me detailed updates of her visits. Highly recommend to anyone!
