I currently work full time, but work in the office 2 days/week, which makes me have a lot of flexibility to help out during the week and during the day time.

My pets have always been considered my children. I am comfortable with leashing and controlling dogs in a variety of situations. I am situationally aware and avoid interacting with other dogs while walking, as I know those are unpredictable situations.

I will need to know any pertinent or special circumstances ahead of time, along with meal and potty times. I am happy to accommodate accordingly.
A typical day
I love playing fetch with my own dogs (they have the need for speed) and walking them. However, my now deceased GS/BM mix was aging and not able to be as active as he wanted to be.

Pet care experience
I’ve loved and owned dogs since I was a small child. My first pet as an adult was a cat. Since then, we have adopted and loved a previous military trained explosives German Shepherd, a German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix (recently passed 2/27/26 😢), and also the partial owner of (with my ex-spouse) a police K9 Belgian Malinois. The K9 was brought home at 8 weeks and trained in-house (both at home and at work, but trained by my ex-husband). I love all dogs- big and small.

Sara has taken great care of her own pets her entire life. She is reliable and responsible and a trustworthy individual. I have been fortunate enough to have Sara watch my little buddies when I’m out of town and she gives me excellent peace of mind. I come back to happy and healthy pets, which is a miracle because we have some neuroses over here. Sara is great!
