I've owned cats growing up, but I quickly realized I was a dog lover when I became an adult. I fostered a medical dog once I moved to Austin, and quickly became a foster failure :) Shortly thereafter, I decided to channel my love for animals in to my work, and got a job at the Austin Humane Society. I started off as an adoption counselor, and worked my way to becoming the foster care coordinator and supervisor. I was there for 5 years, and gained a ton of knowledge on dog behavior and handling. I am currently a Practice Manager at a vet clinic, so I am extremely familiar with medical terminology and am comfortable giving meds (if your dog needs any). I have fostered and dog sat a ton of dogs throughout the years, and have a house with a back yard for your loved one to play in :) My dog has also been around a ton of dog guests and fosters, and is excited to have more friends come by!
