Dogs Are My People
Hi! I'm Sara, and I've been a caretaker for animals all my life. They've always been a part of my chosen family, and there really isn't anyone I'd rather spend most of my time with. We laugh. We cry. We have heated debates about exactly what time one (little spotted dog) should eat. We snuggle....and basically solve the world's problems over frozen peanut butter Kongs. I have cared for senior animals and understand the spectrum of needs associated with various breeds and ages. I work from home, and my day is usually a good mix of working and chatting/playing with our rescue pups, Captain and Edith.

I treat everyone's fur fam like my own. I'm happy to follow whatever protocol is preferable or necessary for your pet while they are in my home or I'm caring for them in yours. When first meeting a fur friend, I typically earn trust pretty quickly. My demeanor is always calm when handling animals as I'm aware they tend to mimic our energy. My spaniel can be anxious so I've become very adept at countering his anxieties in this way and de-escalating stress. Otherwise, I love to play with all the animals and generally just enjoy their company... especially their pure nature and approach to everything humans are prone to complicate.:)

Schedule
I'm home a lot so if I'm house sitting/boarding, I'll be with your babes most of the time with the exception of scheduled engagements or errands. Otherwise, I can flex my schedule to walk/drop-in on your furry lil family member.
