Information Sara K. would like to know about your pet
I like to know what your pet's normal routine is and follow it, as well as knowing what commands you regularly use. I additionally require my clients to outline any triggers their pets have, especially with larger dogs, due to a previous dog bite. I am comfortable with dogs that are reactive and take their behaviour into careful consideration, but for safety of all parties, require these triggers outlined beforehand.
A typical day
I love to take dogs for walks, whatever length is feasible! I have experience with both high-energy dogs and sniff-curious dogs and can adapt to their needs. Regarding cats, I have learned what each cat needs and adapt accordingly. I love to give animals enrichment, including play time and attention, and they are my priority during my time with them.

Pet care experience
I trained and was a big caretaker of my childhood dog from the start. Throughout his life, I was attentive to his needs, ailments, and everything in between, and I miss him dearly. I have additionally dog and cat sat for friends and family throughout the years, and Rover has been a great way to continue this. This includes dogs of all ages, puppies as well as senior dogs, as well as experience with reactive dogs. I genuinely love being around animals and have missed having furry friends in my life!

Sara is a wonderful sitter. She really understands dogs, and truly cares about their wellbeing. My bernedoodle Winnie is very wary of strangers but warmed up to Sara immediately, and seemed to feel very comforted by her presence.
Sara was so easy going and took great care of the boys. She was very responsive and patiently answered all my questions, as this was our first time using Rover. My cats adopted her, and clearly trusted her right off the bat. We came home to perfectly content kitties, and would not hesitate to book her again. Thanks, Sara!
