Enthusiastic snuggler!
*****Not currently taking new clients SPECIFICALLY who are looking for recurring services every week! I do a lot of one-off house/pet sitting all over southern Maine, which is my first priority, so it's difficult to commit to a recurring walk/visit right now when I am not always in the area due to away jobs. House sitting, random drop in visits, weekends away, random walks all welcome! And always feel free to ask, just know that if you want a long-running recurring service, I may not be the one for you!***** Please no unhousetrained puppies or non spayed/neutered dogs :) I've had cats and dogs my entire life (I'm 41). My very first job at age 10 was a pet sitting/dog walking business I created in my neighborhood. I worked in human medicine for most of my adult life and even spent a few years at IDEXX vet labs, so I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to any special needs your pets may have. I have a lot of experience with medically complex animals with medication routines, special diets, and very particular care. If your critters are similar, I'm here for you! Plus, my roommate/sister is a vet tech at an emergency/specialty clinic, so I have a backup resource in my pocket at all times. I've learned lots of tips & techniques for helping challenging animals from said sister who has a special interest in dog training and behavior. I'm particularly good at communicating expectations with dogs that aren't always the best at listening, and we always end up good friends in short order! I might not be the cheapest option out there, but you get what you pay for - I have TONS of experience, and I guarantee you'll come home to happy pets and a spotless house!

My cats are indoor only so I'm responsible for literally every facet of their lives, health AND happiness, and I love everything about it. I will treat your kitties the same way! Their comfort and happiness is number one.

I cannot begin to say how much we have appreciated the care provided by Sara. Her timely communication with human owners as well as feline care skills are second to none. We highly recommend her as a house sitter/cat sitter should you ever need such support!
Sara always provides peace of mind when we travel. So much so that we already have her booked for our next trip. She is a bona fide "cat whisperer" who our middle aged Miss Puss seems to enjoy ... and she is a bit of a neurotic beast so that is saying something. Our family (Miss Puss and all) highly recommend Sara if you need someone to care for your feline while you are away from home.
Sara is a fantastic cat sitter! She is absolutely a "cat whisperer" and we highly recommend her services if you have a finicky or neurotic wee beastie who needs that little bit of extra attention and care.
Sara is without a doubt our fave cat lady! She goes above and beyond to give pets, snuggles, playtime and takes the best photos when we’re gone. She can handle any insane feeding and medicine requests and is super responsive while we’re away and even when we’re back! She has great insight due to previous medical training, even handling chemo meds and waste. We’re always super happy when she’s free and we need to get away! Thanks Sara!
Sara took excellent care of our dog who is currently recovering from heartworm. She communicated clearly and left our home clean and tidy. Her calm demeanor and attention to our training goals made it easy for us to be away for the weekend. We will definitely work with Sara again!

Schedule
I work very part time and on a very flexible schedule (I'm a home health aide currently and basically make my own schedule) so I have a lot of freedom to spend time with your pets on the schedule they're already used to to make sure they're happy and content.
