Hi! I’ve been a Rover sitter for several years and genuinely love what I do. As a dog owner myself, I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I always do my best to make both you and your dog feel comfortable and at ease. I work mostly from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day—whether that’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I’m located near the Little Italy dog park and the waterfront, so there’s easy access to great outdoor space for walks and fresh air. At home, dogs are welcome to relax wherever they’re most comfortable—whether that’s the couch, dog bed, or even my bed. If your dog prefers their own space or needs to be separated, I also have a dog gate and can easily accommodate that.

This was my first time leaving my cat with a sitter, so I explained that receiving photos and updates was very important to me. I dropped him off at 7:36 a.m. and did not receive the first photo until 3:25 p.m., nearly eight hours later, which made me anxious. She did send photos and updates throughout the rest of his stay, which I appreciated. I had some concerns about his eye discharge not being cleaned and a makeshift scratching post initially being made with sandpaper. I picked him up one day early, and she told me she would contact Rover to modify the booking so I could receive a refund for the unused day. After receiving no update, I contacted Rover and was told that no modification request had been submitted, so I had to handle it myself. His food bowl and litter scooper were also not returned at pickup. Although the bowl was found, I wasn’t notified until two days later after following up multiple times. When I asked to pick it up, she said she was out of town but did not offer a date or plan for retrieving it. She was kind and understanding when my cat scratched her curtains, even declining my offer to pay for the damage. Overall, she seemed like a nice person, but the communication and lack of follow-through made the experience less reassuring than I had hoped, so I would not book again.
Sara was an excellent sitter for my dog, Yuki! She sent frequent updates and photos and communicated very clearly. I appreciated how thorough she was in asking questions to get to know my dog before she looked after her. Would definitely book with Sara again!

Sara was an absolute lifesaver when I had to leave town unexpectedly over the weekend. She was incredibly kind, caring, and understanding of my situation, which gave me so much peace of mind. She took phenomenal care of my dog, and I knew my pup was in great hands the entire time. I will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her!

Schedule
I mostly work from home and have an incredibly flexible schedule. I am able to take dogs out for potty breaks and walks / runs whenever they need. I live close to the little Italy dog park as well as waterfront park and we have good access to green space!

Safety, trust & environment
My dog sleeps on my bed, couch, or dog bed. If dogs need to be separated I have a dog gate. Any dogs that stay with me are welcome to sleep where they like but I am more than happy to provide them their own private space if they need it.

Dog park, dog beach, long walks, playing with toys are all activities I love to do! I am within walking distance of a dog park.
