I've cared for all kinds of pets, mainly dogs and cats - all sizes and breeds. Most recently, I traveled to the southwest, house sitting the winter in CA, AZ and NM. Each extended stay (2-3 weeks each) included caring for dogs and keeping their routine (feeding/watering, cleaning up after, daily walks, play time & grooming), and maintaining the household (water plants/garbage pickup/mail collection, etc.) for 3 months. Some needed medication, in which I'm comfortable with (instructions required) and some had minor behavioral issues, but all manageable. I'm a 5-star house sitter on trustedhousesitters .com

As a responsible pet owner myself, routine and trust are important to me. I always follow instructions/owner preferences when caring for pets and hold the responsibility to a high standard. With me as your sitter, you will always find your home in the same (or better) condition as you left it, with happy pets to greet you.
Ratings and reviews
Sara is wonderful! She cared for our animals while we were gone on several occasions, sometimes for a long weekend and sometimes for week long trips. We are more than happy to report that we are very pleased with everything when we came back. Since I am Sara's mother, certainly I have a biased opinion, but with good reason! I can tell you that Sara has had extensive experience with animals because she grew up on our little hobby farm with many animals. Dogs, cats, beef cattle, and horses were always just a part of our lives. We no longer have the cattle or horses but when we want to go on an overnight trip, Sara is the First one we call to care for our dogs, cats and our home while we are gone.

I'm self-employed and work from home, so my schedule is flexible. This allows me to be available when needed and I'm mobile (have a car).
