I've worked with cat, dogs, and exotics for over 30 years in my home and caring for friends' and relatives' companions. My personal experience is expanded on with my professional experience in wildlife care volunteering and animal husbandry in a zoo. Safety, trust & environment
In my client's home I make sure no corner goes unchecked, verifying not only did the required care happen but take extra steps to clean up any unaccounted for messes, log discrepancies with food consumption or waste, and give extra time for socializing. I understand not every pet trusts immediately, so meeting the companion on their level is vital. I am willing to adapt my care and time spent to make sure both the companion and the client are comfortable with me in their space.

Sara is the beast whisperer ... with overall experience working with animals going leaps and bounds farther than anyone else I've ever met, including over a decade of rehabbing raptors, and currently employed at my local zoo as a "wildlife interpreter". Sara is also the kindest person I know, and has cultivated a back yard as such a beacon of sunlight songbirds and squirrels that some might mistake the house for a Disney princess. Seems to also be virtually always saving some new furry feathered or scaled critter under the sun, and woe to any who should try to intervene. Humans do not deserve such a being among them, and yet somehow the honor and privilege still falls to us.

Schedule
I work part time, so have plenty of free time to dedicate to the needs of my clients and work around their schedules. I am available early mornings and late nights, and can work around jumping in during midday for whatever a client may require
