Safety, trust & environment
I have a completely fenced in yard and three sweet fur babies that are friendly to all animals. We have a baby gate set up in the middle of the house that can be used for separation as needed such as during meal times, if dogs are exciting each other too much and need a break, etc. we also have a small and extra large pet crate that can be used as needed.

Information Sara H. would like to know about your pet
Behavior quirks, medical needs, feeding routines, anxiety triggers, and anything that helps me make their stay as smooth and comfortable as possible. No judgement for any behavior issues, I just want to make sure everyone stays as safe as possible.
A typical day
I can play fetch (or keep-away). I am good with walking wherever the dog is used to walking, whether it be the local neighborhood or the nearby park. We enjoy going to local dog parks on days that have nice weather. We can promises the MAXIMUM amount of snuggles and lovings. Occasionally some homemade treats might be made (with parent permission of course😉)

Pet care experience
I provide in-home pet boarding and care in a calm, structured family environment in Medford, OR. I have extensive hands-on experience with animals through kennel work, veterinary shadowing, and lifelong personal pet care. I previously worked at a dog kennel caring for 12–16 dogs at a time, including exposure to basic training and handling working/ranch dogs. I also shadowed at a veterinary clinic in Longview, TX for approximately a year, where I gained experience recognizing health and behavior changes in both dogs and cats. In addition, I have completed pre-veterinary coursework and have training in pet first aid and CPR. At home, I work remotely full-time, allowing me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and care throughout the day. Pets in my care have access to a fully fenced yard, structured indoor/outdoor routines, and flexible rest spaces as needed. I share my home with friendly resident pets and a young child. Because of this, I maintain a structured environment using baby gates, crates, and supervised separation when needed to ensure safety and comfort for all animals. I’m experienced with dogs of all temperaments—from shy and anxious pets to more energetic breeds—and I’m comfortable administering medications and accommodating special care needs. I always prioritize clear communication and ask pet owners for detailed information so I can provide the safest, most consistent care possible.

Reviews

Sara and her husband were great with Tyson. He stayed 3 nights with them and their fur babies. They sent me texts and pictures updating me daily.

Kuma is in great hands!

Sara was so great. Sandy was nervous but Sara made her feel very comfortable. Great dog person!!
Sara H. is an extremely hard worker with an evident passion for animals and such an honest integrity. I would trust her in a heartbeat with the lives and well being of my dogs.
