Pet Loving Veteran& Rescue Dog Mom!
Hi! I'm Sara, prior military and ready to be of service to your furry family members! My love for animals began with my own dog at age 6. I have been fostering sick dogs for 8 years. Caring for animals in need is a passion of mine. I would like to build relationships with pet owners in my community. I have dreams of opening my own rescue, day camp and boarding facility for pets in the future. My services on Rover help me to get closer to that by building trusting relationships. I truly love all animals and want to help those in need find loving forever homes! I also love training animals! Some of the animals I fostered had to be trained to walk, get down steps and function in a busy world around them. Helping them thrive and learn new skills/tricks is a joy! My rescue dog, Olive, has taught me so much. She has a very timid temperament, which requires patience and kindness. Providing this for her has allowed her to feel safe. Knowing an animal feels safe and loved with me is the greatest joy of my life.

I have a 5 month old Cavachon and a 4 year old indoor outdoor cat that I was very nervous to leave with a sitter and then I met with Sara and she put my mind at ease! She was so sweet and sociable and it was obvious she loved animals! I was like a first time mom when I was leaving my babies behind, but Sara worked her magic and I was able to leave them much easier. Sara stayed at my house with my babies and she sent photos and updates throughout my time away and I knew my pets were in good hands. I came back to everything organized and was able to spend time with my babies. Thank you Sara for keeping them happy and safe for me. I will definitely be contacting you again!! 💕

Sara was wonderful. Came on Thanksgiving day so a big shout out for taking care of our cat on a holiday. She did everything we asked her to and went above and beyond communicating with us. Our cat is terrified of strangers but must have had a good feeling about Sara because Sara was able to get a photo of her. Great pet sitter!
Sara took amazing care of Ellie Mae and Carter. Our cat requires a precise medication, dietary and suffers from separation anxiety. Sara did a fantastic job of meeting our needs. We boarded our dog with Sara and she, likewise was very well cared for. Thank you Sara! We will definitely book again!

Schedule
I'm available for check ins, walks/play time early morning, afternoons during lunch hours and evenings during the week. Weekends I am free 24 hours for check ins, walks/play time and day camp within my home. I am able to board pets in my own home. In my home, your pet is my top priority! I am able to stay overnights with your pet as needed. I am able to house sit any day of the week! During a house sit, pets would be let out to play & use the bathroom early morning, afternoons and as much as possible in the evenings.

The pets I care for will be monitored with love and care. I am able to check on them throughout the night if needed! I am able to administer medications easily. My home is 3100 square feet and a huge quarter acre yard! Plenty of room to play, while monitored of course. ;-) !

A typical day
I love to play and exercise! We would run in the yard, play fetch, learn new tricks and go for walks in my neighborhood! Or if your dog is anything like mine, lay and stretch out in the warmth of the sun, while watching the neighborhood! Once exercise is taken care of, we can relax inside to rehydrate, grab a treat and snuggle. I have lots of blankets and dog beds for pets to get comfy on when it is time to rest!
