My love for animals started at an early age. As a child, I constantly begged my parents for a dog. The rule was that we could only get one when every family member was old enough to help care for it. With my youngest sibling being six years younger, I had a bit of a wait – but we finally adopted our first dog when I was a teenager, and soon after, a second joined the family. That’s when my pet care journey truly began. Since then, I’ve adopted my own pets (currently have one six year-old DSH cat) and regularly help care for the pets of friends and family when they’re out of town or at work. When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated with love, respect, and personalized care – just like one of my own. Whether your fur baby enjoys walks, playtime, snuggles, or simply prefers quiet company, I’ll make sure their unique needs and preferences are always honored.

Sara is the person you want caring for your fur baby! She has looked after my elderly cat many times. She carefully follows all of his detailed care instructions including administering his medications and special diet. I never have to worry because I know he’s in the best hands. She communicates regularly with updates and photos which gives me total piece of mind. When I’m away I know my cat is not just being looked after he is being truly cared for. Schedule
I work from home full-time, which allows me the flexibility to take walks and breaks throughout the day. I’m available Monday through Friday as well as some weekends. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss specific dates and times.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m located near the beach, which makes for a great walking spot but I’m also happy to stroll through the neighborhood if your dog prefers a quieter route. I have a yard where we can play fetch or run around, though it is not fenced in. Inside, there’s plenty of space for your dog to explore and relax freely. If I need to step out briefly, I prefer to use a crate for their safety – if that’s something your pet is comfortable with. I also have a six year old DSH cat. He’s friendly, but tends to keep to himself when there are others in the house so he will likely stay in a separate room by choice.

A typical day
The activities I do with pets always depend on their individual preferences. If they enjoy going for walks, we’ll go for walks! If they love playing fetch, and you’re comfortable with us using an unfenced yard, we’ll play fetch together. I’m always up for new adventures and love exploring with my furry friends!
