I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, including fostering a greyhound in my own home, which gave me a real understanding of the patience, care and reassurance some dogs need while settling into a new environment. I’m comfortable around dogs of different sizes and personalities and understand that every dog has their own routine and preferences. I’m happy to follow your usual schedule closely, whether that means feeding, refreshing water, toilet breaks, playtime, medication instructions, or simply spending some time keeping them company while you’re away. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust coming into your home and caring for a much-loved member of the family. I’ll always treat your dog with the same kindness, patience and attention I would want for my own pets, and I’m more than happy to provide updates and photos during my visits so you know they’re happy and well cared for. 🐾

I believe cats are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, so I always aim to provide care that's tailored to each individual cat and their owner's preferences. When caring for a cat in their own home, I'll follow their usual feeding schedule, refresh water, clean litter trays, and make sure they're safe, comfortable and happy. I'll also spend quality time with them in whatever way they enjoy—whether that's playing, grooming, cuddles, or simply sitting quietly with them if they're a little shy. I'm attentive to the small things too, such as changes in behaviour, appetite or litter tray habits, and I'll let you know straight away if I have any concerns. Having previously cared for elderly cats with medical needs, I understand the importance of patience, consistency and following care instructions carefully. I'll also send regular photo and video updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your cat is safe, loved and receiving the same level of care I'd want for my own pets.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work from home much of the week, which gives me the flexibility to provide visits throughout the day and spend quality time with the cats in my care, rather than rushing in and out. Caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I'm used to building my day around their needs. I previously cared for two elderly cats who required daily medication, regular monitoring and lots of patience, so I'm comfortable sticking to routines and paying close attention to each cat's individual requirements. I also volunteer with a local wildlife hospital, so looking after animals is something I genuinely enjoy, not just something I do occasionally. Whether it's feeding, playing, giving medication, or simply providing company and reassurance, I'm committed to making sure every cat feels safe, comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away.
