I have had years of informal pet care experience caring for pets (dog, cat) of my own. Professionally I have looked after senior dogs, dogs on multiple medications, small dogs, large dogs, puppies, adults, dogs with behavioral problems etc. I will be home most of the time which means I will send frequent updates I am more I am more flexible with pick up/drop off times and changes in plans in general. Your pets will be very safe. I am very cognizant of the health of the animals who stay with me. What to expect when you book with me: -I will send videos as well as pictures -I usually have only 1 or max 2 dogs at a time- this leads to me devoting much more time to each dog and providing more personalized care -I live one block from the park = frequent trips! -I keep things very clean. Your dogs hygiene will be maintained. -I am caring and loving to all animals I watch -home cooked meals can occasionally be provided (usually some sort of meat mixed with white rice) My preferences, though not deal breakers: -spayed, neutered -flea treated -fully vaccinated + rabies shots -crate trained -no history of aggression towards other dogs or humans

Thank you to Sara for taking our dog last minute during the holidays. We loved getting so many pictures and updates!
Sara took our last minute request to watch our two dogs for a day and she is great! She sent us many updates on the dogs throughout the day which we greatly appreciated as it was first time for us to leave the dogs with a sitter at their home. The dogs were happy when we picked them up with no signs of being stressed. We highly recommend Sara!
Thank you so much for taking such good care of Fran for four days. He really enjoyed his time with Sara, so much so that he was sad to say goodbye. I was worried while traveling, but thanks to Sara, I was able to feel at ease. If there’s another opportunity, I would love to ask Sara to help again.
Amber loved her day with Sara and the other dogs! Sara made it easy for my shy girl to settle i. A little ina. Re space and that made all the difference in her having a great experience. Sara sent regular messages, photos and video so I could see my pup’s adventures, and it made me feel so much better knowing how well Amber was cared for while I was away. Amber will be back at Sara’s to play another day.
Margot had a short notice 2 night stay with Sara. Sara took cute pics and Margot came home happy. Would recommend! :)

Schedule
I typically follow whatever schedule provided by the owner. I do take the dog with me if I have errands to run or am going somewhere dogs are allowed. I sleep around 10pm and that’s when your dog will sleep as well

Safety, trust & environment
You can trust me to be honest and a good communicator. Dogs will be safe and free from toxic elements like multiple house plants or chemicals. I have a camera to check on the pets when I step out.
Pets
A typical day
Dogs will lounge around most of the day, with access to the yard and balconies. There is a large play area set up in the garage for larger dogs so they can play. During the day I will take the dogs to San Mateo Central Park (just a block away), take them on walks, feed them meals 2-3 times/day, administer any medications, work on tricks/potty training, etc. dogs love going out on the balcony too
