I feel like I’m apart of the pack!
I lived with dogs since the day I was born. I lived with my family, and my dad, Scott D., who has been dog-sitting for +8 years with Rover and I was his little sidekick. I’m studying at Carrington College to become a Veterinary Assistant/Technician, taking care of animals is my passion! There are no children in my household. Although, my favorite activity is to play and snuggle. I also bathe, feed, clean, and give unconditional love to dogs. I also have had experience with taking care of sick and injured dogs, and I would be happy to help them recover. I also worked at a dog boarding and daycare, I became a team leader within a few months into the job and worked with a lot of dogs for about two years. I’ve been with dogs both large and small with big personalities or timid. I work as a Rover sitter full-time. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend, hope you have a lovely day.

I don’t trust anyone else but Sara to care for my old man Wishbone! He boarded at Sara for a whole week and Sara has been nothing but amazing! Sara is very skilled in all aspect of animal care and is so kind and gentle. With daily updates, Sara has done an excellent job ensuring that Wishbone was well taken cared of when I was out of town.

My little senior boy Wishbone loves going over to Sara! You can really tell that Sara loves what she does. All of the dogs love her and she really is just amazing! She is so patient, kind, and caring to my senior baby. We truly appreciate Sara!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I have a pretty flexible schedule, I mostly work from home. I have night classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays but I live with my boyfriend and roommate so if I’m not there for drop off, at least one person should be home. All dogs are required for a meet and greet, to make sure you and your doggo are comfortable. I don’t take last minute requests, except for repeat clients.

I have a fenced backyard that’s pretty spacious, plenty of room for the dogs to run around. I have ways to separate dogs if they want to have their own space, I also have a crate for those working on crate training. Of course we will do what is most comfortable for their needs.

A typical day
I live in a quiet neighborhood, but I have a lot of neighbors who have dogs. We also have plenty of toys to play with, dog beds and a crate if they want to rest. If I can, I like to take the dogs for a walk.

- I would like to know if your dog is socialized or has any experience being around different sized dogs. I would also like to know if they've ever had experience being with other people or being in a new environment. I know that dogs who are in a new environment can get overwhelmed. I also want to know any medical information; medicine, spayed/neutered, if they have seizures. I want to make sure that their stay is as comfortable as possible. I've been around a lot of different breeds. From the cuddliest staffys to the napoleon complex chihuahua.
