I love dogs more than humans!!
I’ve had 4 dogs over the last 23 years and they’ve all been my children in lieu of human children. I revolve my entire life around my dog and it’s needs and I will do the same for yours! I love playing with dogs in my large fenced yard and taking them for long walks in my beautiful, tree-lined neighborhood. My house has a doggie door that most dogs learn quickly. Your dog won’t pine away for you in my care! They’ll feel like they’re on vacation too!

Wendy loves hanging out with Sarah! It always sounds like they have so much fun together. Sarah is also always great with any special instructions (meds, etc.). She’s our go-to sitter!
Sara took great care of our pup, Carlton over Memorial Weekend! This was his first visit with her and will definitely not be his last. She has plenty of dog toys, all we had to do was bring his favorites. Her back yard is a sniffing heaven. Carlton came home totally calm and happy, so we know that he had plenty of love and attention. Sara kept us updated on their weekend and sent photos/videos. We feel very fortunate to have found such a great sitter/dog lover in Sara.
Sara always takes such good care of Bella when I’m away, I never have to worry about her.
Sara was great with my two girls. They can be quite the handful and she had zero issues with their different personalities and activity levels. She took great care to make sure her yard was was safe for my little escape artist. I'd happily book her again!
Both of our dogs felt right at home and were very very well taken care of while we were away.

Schedule
I work full time, but have weekends off. I prioritize dog care, but any dog I watch has to be able to go 8.5 hours without a bathroom break, in case they don't learn the doggie door. Because of my work hours, no dogs under two years old, please!

My personal dog has passed away, so your dog will have me and my house/yard all to themselves! I can accommodate any kind of daytime arrangements including keeping your dog in its crate, if that will make them more comfortable. I want your dog to come home from its stay with me utterly exhausted from how much fun they had at my house! I’ve been approved by a couple different rescue organizations in town and I’m happy to let anyone speak to my vet about the kind of care I give my dog when I have one.
A typical day
Weather permitting, I love going on a walk with a dog in the morning and evening. I base the length of the walk on what the dog can handle. If a dog has no distance restrictions, my route is 2 miles total. Whatever your dog’s favorite game/toy is, I love playing it with them in my fenced in yard. Unless I know a dog really well, I won’t take them to a dog park because you have to be acutely familiar with how a dog reacts to certain incidents that can pop up at the dog park.

- I need to know about the dog’s temperament and off-beat behaviors and what kind of daily routine the dog is used to. I appreciate knowing as much as I can about your dog so I can replicate it’s daily home life as closely as possible. I want the dog to be happy, even though it’s away from home.
