Missing my pup, here for yours!
I got my first dog when I was 15, a sassy beagle (aren’t they all?) called Tommy. I’ve since moved away from home in Portugal, but I still miss him every day. While I’m new to dog sitting, I’ve spent time caring for and walking dogs, including helping out with my upstairs neighbour’s Corgi whenever she needed it. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and can give your pet plenty of attention and care. I’m very conscientious and will treat your pets as if they were my own!

Safety, trust & environment
I try to stick to whatever routine your dog is already used to, so they feel comfortable and settled. I’m still building up my experience, so I always appreciate clear instructions and will follow them carefully. On walks, I keep things simple and safe (on lead unless you’ve said otherwise) and just make sure they’re getting a good walk and some attention. I’m also happy to send updates and photos while you’re away, so you know how things are going!

I was Sara’s neighbour when she was living in Lisbon - before she moved away - and the proud owner of a hilarious corgi, Ollie. To give you a bit of context on how these two things connect, I have a job where I quite often need to work longer hours than the usual 9 to 5. This meant that Ollie’s precious late-afternoon walks were sometimes in jeopardy. Since skipping these walks was not an option for me, I started thinking about finding someone I could trust with Ollie - and I didn’t have to think for long. From casual encounters on the building stairs, Sara had always been super nice and friendly with Ollie, showing an unusual gift when it came to handling him. Multiple chats led to a friendship, and I quickly realised Sara was someone I could trust with my boy. I then started asking her to take him for walks and stay with him until I arrived when I couldn’t make it back from work in time, and I couldn’t be happier with that decision. She seemed super happy with that and was immediately really helpful. Ollie always comes back happy, relaxed, and very well taken care of. And so, I could only highly recommend Sara as someone you can trust with your pets, as she shows great empathy for them while being responsible and reliable. Needless to say, I was sad when she decided to move to London—though not as sad as Ollie. Fortunately, I’ve been doing a decent job of consoling him.

Schedule
I work remotely, so I’m very flexible and can fit walks or visits into my day quite easily. I’m generally available mornings and evenings, but I can also do daytime walks or drop-ins when needed, including on short notice! Unfortunately my flat doesn’t allow pets, but I’m more than happy to care for or sit your dog in your home.
