Ya gotta love dogs!
Hi there! I am a certified occupational therapist assistant, and got my bachelor's degree at GVSU in Michigan in 2018. Growing up there were always dogs in our home. When I turned 8, my mom started me in 4-H showing our dogs, it was a great experience. When I was in high school, I volunteered at Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary for 4 years. I worked with a plethora of dogs with various breeds, ages, and dispositions. We really focused on training each dog by reinforcing good behaviors with praise or treats, and a quick, stern "no" with non- favorable behaviors. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, and hope to return to volunteering here at a shelter once I get established in my new job. Throughout the years I've worked with more than 20 different breeds, and with dogs aged 3 months to 13 years. I am a huge dog person, you can definitely trust that your four-legged family member will be well taken care of.

I try to treat each pet as if they were my own. They will be extremely well taken care of. I aim for leaving each home better than when I walked through the door and do a good job at cleaning up after myself. 😊

Sara is so very kind, patient and full of life that our dog Abby simply loves to be around her and is always excited when we head her way to drop her off. Sara has always been professional and courteous and goes the extra mile for us when we need her to. I would highly recommend her but don’t use her too much as it will take time away from Abby 😉

Sara is amazing! We did the meet and greet and I felt absolutely confident about choosing her. While boarding, she gave my dog tons of attention. I loved the pictures she sent while I was on vacation and she answered all of my pet mom inquiries right away. The way my dog interacted with her during pick-up confirmed he liked her too. Don't give booking her a second thought, except maybe that means she'll be booked when I need a pet sitter the next time! Just loved everything about her.

Schedule
I am currently working 8 hour shifts as a COTA, but I am always able to buzz home to check on your dogs. I will have plenty of time to spend with your four legged family members prior to and after work. I am a huge runner, biker, and hiker and love to bring dogs along for the adventure.
