I currently work full time but I am currently free on the weekends and after 5pm to look after your pets when needed. I am also free most bank holidays!

I will follow all the instructions given by you when you leave your pet with me to look after, I’m excellent with handling other peoples pets from working in a boarding kennel and cattery. I will treat your house as if it is my own and care for it as well as your pets.

Let me know if your dog isn’t friendly with other dogs, is nervous or needs a slower walk. This will ensure the dog has the best time on the walk, and the time is fitted to their needs. As someone with a nervous dog I know it can be hard for them to adjust to new people so I would be happy to meet with them before the booking.
A typical day
I love to ensure that the dogs have mental enrichment, and ways to calm down especially after a walk. I can follow any training you want to abide to on walks such as loose lead walking and commands. Every dog loves to have a sniff so I will ensure they are able to do this and find some extra spots they might like to sniff to keep them mentally enchriched! For drop in visits I will ensure I treat your homes with care and respect like my own. Your pet will get plenty of cuddles if they enjoy them!

I was a supervisor at a Boarding kennel and cattery which means I can give animals a high level of care. Working at the kennels we also include dog walks which means I have experience with all sizes and ages of dogs. I recently worked with large animals and domesticated animals at a college, so have experience in a wide variety including hoofed stock, rodents, exotics, dogs and cats. I have always grown up with cats and dogs and can’t imagine them not in my life. I studied animal management as a level 3 extended technical diploma which I did for 2 years. I have a degree in Zoology, which will help with this job. These show I have lots of experience in this area and would be superb at caring for your pets while you are away. I have a nervous/reactive dog at home so I am able to work with these types of dogs and adapt my walk and visit to be able to fit their needs. I understand dogs may need longer to come around to people so would be willing to meet on a few occasions before. As their owners I understand you know your pet so I will listen to what your pet enjoys and needs and adapt my care to fit your pet.

Sara came in and walked Nell for us yesterday. This is our first experience of Rover.com and it has been thoroughly positive. Sara was very responsive and positive to messages. Once she came to meet us and I saw how Nell responded to her, I had no concerns and felt very confident with the arrangement.
