I've been a dog lover my entire life, and while I'm new to Rover, I'm definitely not new to loving and caring for dogs. My husband and I recently said goodbye to our two sweet senior pups, and although we're not quite ready to adopt another dog just yet, we'd absolutely love to open our home to yours. We miss having dogs around, and getting to love on other people's pups brings us so much joy. One of my favorite things to do is get outside and walk, so if your dog enjoys walks, they're in luck! I love getting my steps in while giving dogs the exercise, fresh air, and sniff breaks they love. If your pup would rather spend time playing in the backyard or curled up on the couch getting belly rubs, I'm happy to do that too. Every dog is different, and I love getting to know their personality. I also know how hard it is to leave your dog with someone else. I've been there myself, and finding someone you truly trust with your fur baby isn't easy. That's why I make communication a huge priority. I'll send plenty of pictures, videos, and updates so you can relax knowing your dog is having a great time. I always think if I were the one away, I'd want lots of updates, so that's exactly what I provide. I work mostly from home and have a flexible schedule, so your dog will have lots of company throughout the day. I also only take a limited number of dogs at a time because I want each one to get plenty of individual attention and feel like part of the family, not like they're staying at a busy boarding facility. My goal is simple: I want you to enjoy your vacation, work trip, or time away without worrying about your dog. When you come home, I hope you're greeted by a happy, relaxed pup who had just as much fun as you did. I'd love to meet you and your best friend!

Sara was amazing with our pooch! She checked on all his preferences and gave Charlie a second home and communicated often and creatively! This was especially helpful because our kiddos like to know what the dog is up to and they miss him when we are away. 5 stars!

Sara took such great care of our dog while we were away, sending us pictures and updates throughout her entire stay. She was treated like one of the family. Our dog really enjoyed her experience and we would definitely recommend Sara to everyone.
Sara took the most incredible care of our pup. We got tons of great pictures of him daily and she provided wonderful updates. We even left with the cutest custom report card on his stay. Last-minute booking due to the Garden Grove/Stanton evacuation, and I was so grateful to find Sara on Rover. She is amazing, caring, and super knowledgeable about dog behavior. My Snow is a shy girl, but with Sara she felt comfortable going on walks and car rides. Sara gave hourly updates and sent lots of pictures throughout the day. She is absolutely a gem, and I would definitely recommend her for dog daycare!
I truly can’t say enough amazing things about my experience working with Sara! I left my best friend (a 4 yr old labradoodle namedVienna) with Sara for 4 days while I attended a work event and have never felt more at peace traveling and working knowing that my girl was in such great hands. I received the most thoughtful updates throughout my trip, picked up a happy, tail - wagging girl, and even received a report card and treats at the time of pick up. I can’t recommend her enough! We will absolutely be repeat customers, Vienna is already excited to visit Sara again soon! 🐾🐕🦺💚

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my everyday routine because animals have always been a huge part of my life. I enjoy having pets around throughout the day, and making space for their needs feels easy and familiar after a lifetime of caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities.

When your dog stays with us, they become part of the family. We recently said goodbye to our two senior dogs, so we have lots of love to give and plenty of one on one attention for your pup. Our large, fully fenced backyard is perfect for supervised play, and your dog is welcome to enjoy both the house and yard throughout the day. At night, they'll sleep inside where it's cozy and comfortable. I follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, medications, walks, and plenty of love, playtime, and cuddles. My goal is simple: for your dog to feel safe, happy, and right at home while you're away.
A typical day
Play and stroll…we will have a blast. I love seeing a happy pup and will make sure they get the activity they need and love.
